Tips for Lili's Blooms

August 03, 2012

Thoroughly disappointed with this establishment. I have been buying flowers from them 1-2 times a month for the past 6-7 months. Last Friday I made my very FIRST request to reserve some sunflowers for me for a special occasion. When I stopped by today they didn't have my flowers that I requested and then they gave me two different stories as to what happened. The "management" said they never received a request but when I asked the woman that I spoke to last week about reserving the flowers she said that they were not able to get the flowers. I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that they were not able to get sunflowers in a week's time. I was then put on hold for 5 minutes while I heard two employees carry on a conversation about who knows what. I finally hung up and then every time I tried to call back they hung up on me. THEN I spoke with a woman (Dianne or Dianna, I believe) and she said she would go visit the sunflower distributor and asked that I call back in 30 minutes. I called back in 35 minutes (decided to give her some extra time just in case) and she didn't answer or return my call. I then called the other store 30 minutes after that and low and behold Dianne (or Dianna) answered and then put me on hold AGAIN only to tell me that they didn't want to buy the sunflowers because they would have had to have bought more than what I was wanting and they didn't want to put the flowers in the freezer over the weekend. So not only was I promised flowers that I did not receive, but I was also lied to and avoided by the employees. You would think that this business would be willing to buy some extra flowers to make a loyal customer (that you wronged) happy, right? WRONG. You have lost a customer and I will be sure to share this story with anybody that mentions your store and I will tell them to avoid it all costs. I hope saving that extra money by not buying some sunflowers was worth it.
