I was on a bus with my daughter when the bus driver made a steep turn into the intersection. The only thing I could see was traffic coming right for me and my daughter, so I grabbed her and braced for the hit. The bus driver didn't want to take responsibility for her actions, and this really bothered me. There were a lot of babies on the bus, and I just couldn't understand her response. My first response was to see if they were alright, but the bus driver just kept saying, Did you see the light? I had the light! I knew she was in the wrong and that I had a case, but I didn't know what to do and how to go forward and who to talk to. My mother told me about Godsey Martin, so I called them. It took a little while, but it was worth it, and I was very pleased. Godsey Martin helped me go forward and gave me a voice.
