I went to pick up some military uniforms that needed patches sewn on. The bill was $8 and some change. When trying to pay with a $20 bill, I was told that they couldn't change it. Ok..I need the uniforms for deployment tomorrow to Korea, and called to see if I could pick them up. No answer. This is Tuesday and their schedule is to be opened at 10:00. It is now 11:58 and after several phone calls, could not get an answer. Maybe the work is good but the service is very poor. I need those uniforms NOW.

Fabulous Tailor!

Finally a tailor who knows how to properly work with knits! I have used many tailors in the past who have repeatedly returned my garments with puckers, crooked hem lines, and uneven stitches due to sloppy workmanship. It is so refreshing to find a tailor who does neat work and actually knows how to work with stretch fabrics. I will only use this tailor for all my future alterations.

• Cons: Wish there was a tailor like this in Coppell.

Best Tailor in Town!

I love the Golden Thimble. I won't take my clothes anywhere else. Being only 5'0, nearly everything has to be altered. The turn around time is only a few days and the hem is left with a professional appearance. Great location too and reasonable prices. Don't bother going anywhere else.

A quick story about the Golden Thimble's exceptional service: I was packing to go on a cruise. My husband was vacuuming and accidentally ran over the strap to a halter top I was planning to take with me. It was 3:00 p.m. and we were leaving the next day at 7:30 a.m. I raced to The Golden Thimble and she repaired it right then as I waited and charged me pennies for the quick fix.

Excellent and Prompt Service

Everyone there is so very friendly... I have taken all my jeans to get hemmed and the waist taken in.. Awesome job.. can't even tell they were altered!!! Always has them ready in a very timely manner... Love this alteration shop!!! Must give them a try!!!!
