Never in my life have I experience such bad customer service from the front desk & up. When the hostess is rude, tells you that you need to wait for a table, yet there were at least seven tables available. And when you complain to the manager about it, and instead of the manager apologize & try to compensate for the bad experience, you can't blame the hostess for the unprofessional behavior. You bland management for the lack of professionalism & training. We don't need their service, but they totally need the customers to stay up float, since without a customer base, the business goes under. I refuse to ever go there nor sponsor them in any way, shape nor form. My friends & I left, went next door to Outback, got excellent service from their waiting staff & they totally made my night. Texas de Brazil, shame on you!
Super Delicious! – I went to Texas de Brazil in Addison for the second time this last weekend, and once again it was a wonderful experience. Even though it was a friday night they were able to seat me right away. My server explained to me the whole story of the restaurant and recommened some items on the salad bar for me and my husband to try. Some of the things on there looked a bit unfamiliar but I tried them anyways and I am glad I did. The Brazilian black beans with white rice were terrific. I made sure to leave room in my stomach for the meats and I'm glad I did. The meats were so tender and had a wonderful taste to them. My favorite by far was the garlic picanha. I could not ask for a better wait staff. My server made sure we always had a clean plate for more meat and we never had to ask for refills, they were all very on top of their game. To end the night me and my husband split a Brazilian cheese cake with two cups of coffee. Wonderful night to say the least!!! Thank you !!
best place on planet earth to eat well – My wife and I were celebrating our 3rd anniversary at your location. by far this is the most amazing restaurant in addison (addison is the hottest dinning area in the metroplex) everything was more than a surprise, since We walked in, the hosstes was a friendly I identified myself, 2 min latter we were seated (even restaurant looks almost full) the decoration and the lighting was in a touch, romantic I felt GOOD by choosing TEXAS DE BRAZIL for this special celebration, The service is in fact the best, all team was there for us, after we selected our drinks, we were explained how the concept works, My gosh the SALAD BAR is very well decorated and salads are amazing, (you just want a sample of everything) te MEATS PARADE are cooked to perfection, (I wish I can have extra room to stay eating)
I can just say: I'll be back soon for my birthday.
TEXAS DE BRAZIL is from now on my favorite Steak House in Addison!!!
Steak Lovers Paradise – I recently dined at the Texas De Brazil in Addison and it was by far one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a while. I felt right at home as soon as i walked in. I was unaware that they took reservations so I never made any but they were able to seat me right away. My server recommened a fabulous Brazilian cocktail that I LOVED! I fell in love with the Picanha, it was my favorite cut of meat. I left this place so full I could barely walk! Me and my boyfriend came for the food but we will retur for the attentive, generous, and quick service we received. I would HIGHLY recommend this palce to anyone!
The Best Salad area Selection of all the churrascarias – I went to the Texas de Brazil in Addison for the first time over 3 years ago and ever since I became a regular diner of this amazing restaurant! From the moment I walked in the door you could tell how proffesional and examplary the service was from the hostess making my reservations on the phone from dirty plates being removed right away from my table!
The dining experience of a churrascaria should be exactly like this amazing restaurant. From smiling faces to exceptional cuts of beef and many other meats!
Definetely a FAVORITE!
Car broke in to while having lunch – I was there for lunch and my truck was broke in. They have camera's but didn't bother to look at them. I did file a police report - They said they've had other break ins within the last 2 weeks. The food was good - but it is getting a low rating because of their lack of concern. It's terrible to come out and find your car broke in to. THey should be more concerned than to not even look at the camera video.
Brazilian steak – I WOULD NEVER,EVER GO BACK THERE AND TELL EVERYBODY ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD AT TEXAS DE BRAZIL
My friend got an email from Texas de Brazil with a deal that they have going on this month.,november,2010.We call, made reservation asked about the price and got there .Everything looked ok until we got the bill.We were told one price on the phone, around 30 bucks but when we got the check was 90 dollars.
Both the manager and the General Manager ,Calin didn't even listen to what we were saying and said that we are wrong that he never said that price on the phone, his exact words,..,; WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO????? THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO,.YOU NEED TO PAY IT!!!!!! RAISING HIS VOICE,.
Now we all know that no matter what, the client is always right, that is how they train you but apparently not at this restaurant.
To show the difference,we had a steak at the TEXAS LAND&CATTLE.Took a bit longer to bring the steak
and the steak was well done but we requested medium rare.
The manager came over said we are sorry for this and the meal is on us.
Now that's how the Manager of any decent restaurant should be
Very delicious! Just ask the waiters eating all evening! – We enjoy dining at Texas De Brazil in Addison for nice evenings and special events, but May 19th, 2010 we encountered a very different experience.
We were showed to our table where we sat for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come greet us. There was 1 female and 3 male waiters walking around the floor divided among approximately 6 tables. it was 7:45 p.m. when we arrived.
We finally just assumed we start the process ourselves so we went to the salad bar. We love the Lobster bisque but this evening it was cold. We returned to the table and were given glasses of water.
Then began the carvers coming around to serve the meat. Excellent meat and I have a few favorites (Picanha!), so I started looking at the kitchen door to see if a new skewer was coming out. As I watched the first carver return to the kitchen, he stopped at the door, carved off a nice big piece with his knife and then ate it with his fingers. He then walked over to the rack and put the meat on to continue cooking.
Out came another waiter. Walked around to each table, then walked back to the kitchen, stopped at the door, carved off two pieces, one for himself, and another for a carver walking out the door. I watched this happen over and over and was becoming frustrated that I was now obviously paying for THEIR dinner.
All the while while I'm getting annoyed at seeing this, my wife is getting upset watching the female waiter walk to each table and then leave the floor, with us sitting there with nothing to drink. We had to flag down someone 3 times to get our water glasses filled.
After about 10 minutes of watching the carvers feast in the kitchen, one of them noticed me staring at them. So the new game was for one carver to stand at the doorway with his back to me, blocking the counter where they were still carving meat.
I now wanted to speak to a manager, but could not figure out who our waiter was or even have them come to our table. Then I notice the man who greeted us at the host stand in the suit (is that the manager?) walk to the salad bar, fill up a plate of food and then stop at the kitchen entrance and have the carvers cut him a nice plate of food as well. I guess telling the manager would be out of the question.
That must be the reason why you pay $40+ per person. You are buying all the staff their dinner. If I ate at another restaurant and watched the waiters graze off the plates of food that they were bringing to the tables, I would be disgusted and never eat there again. I feel that this was not much different.
The food is great, but this evening, my Birthday celebration, was not so stellar. Unfriendly gauchos, inattentive wait staff, and prices set to cover dinner for the crew made Texas De Brazil a turn off for us.
Love meat – Have been many times, love meat but the last time the gauchos seem to be upset, didn't answer questions I took two friends from Canada for the first time and were no impressed with the service. Love the bananas and the salad bar.
