Great Food/Good Service. This restaurant serves wonderful food with enormous portions. The vegetables are served family stile and seasoned perfectly. The service is friendly and fast. Great food for the price.

Best chicken anywhere and the veggies and biscuts are awesome.. I am not a fan of fried chicken but some friends talked me into going to Babe's and promised me their menu had more then just chicken but told me I would want to get the chicken. I ordered ribs which were wonderful and I tried the chicken. Next time, I'm getting the chicken. Plan on leaving with a doggie bag.

That's total baloney. Clovecotton just has personal issues with him/herself for some reason or another. Babe's, like any other place to eat, will not be the favorite of everybody. I happen to like Babe's, but I don't go there often because the portions are HUGE! Personally, I have never seen anybody discriminated against in Babes. Clovecotton just needs to realize the world does not revolve around them simply because of race, or at all. Clovecotton, nobody is going to worship you or feel sorry for you because of your race. Get over it.

very disappointed. the moment we walked in, we saw at least 10 staff waiting at the door talking with each other. some of them saw us but didn't greet us. i looked at a staff, she saw me looking at her and about to ignore but thought for a second she turned back and finally greeted us. the seating was quick and the waitress was courteous and sweet. the food came slow. i'm not impressed with the food. we both agree it's similar to Popeye's Fried Chicken. the portion is big but oily and salty. they give you side dishes but super oily. they don't have regular coke, they don't have menu and they don't offer boxes to go. seems like it's a favorite to the locals but i can get better food and service at any New York street vendors.

we found this place through this site & thought it suppose to be the best fried chicken place near us, but it only left us w/ dissatifaction and an aching stomach after.

Babe's is a NASTY PREJUDICE RESTURANT. Babe's is the worst resturant in garland, Tx the food is nasty the chicken was nasty and bloody. the other people stop eating and look at us like we wasn't welcome to eat there. one waitress seen me and my boyfriend walked in before this other couple she waited on that table of course because they was White. the chcken made me sick it was bloody... that place is horrible please think twices before you go there specially if you're a african american. I will never eat there again.

Good old home cooking. Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak & Cat Fish. You get plenty to eat. This restaurant is great. The food is good and very statisfying. It is in the cente where Calico r where Calico Kids is located. I own Calico Kids and the parents and kids go very often to eat there after classes. Just tonight one of the kids said: I love Babe's, the food is so good. You could tell she was speaking from her heart, or was it her stomach.

I highly recommend it to feed a hungry family.
