my favorite joint. Iv been in to the greenville location about 9 or 10 times in the past 3 years and have never had anyting less than a fantastic experience. the atmosphere is fun and extremely inviting and the food is second to none in the metrolpex.

Desperado Tacos!!!. Desperado's is great tex-mex period. I have never ordered anything from the menu that I don't think is great. However, if you are going to be eating at Desperado's for the first time, you must have the Desperado Taco's. Like trying to describe a beautiful woman or a hidden lush valley one stumbles upon, words do not do this entree justice. Trust me, though, as someone who has worked down the street for many years, anytime we have clients from out of town, we take them to Desperados and recommend these tacos. I have never heard anything but rave reviews and on return visits those same clients are the ones suggesting we go to Desperado's for lunch. Some want to see if everything else is as good at the tacos, but most already know what they want!

"The Best Mexican Restaurant in Texas". This is the "Best Mexican Restaurant." I have tried all others in Dallas and all over Texas and this is hands down the Best. Overall best service that I have ever had. Such attention to detail in every way. From the cleanliness, to the plate presentation, and to the way you are treated the moment you walk through the door. I highly recommend Desperados for any Mexican Food Lover.

Best Mexican in Garland. When we first started going to Desperados13 years ago, we were very impressed. Now, 13 years later nothing has changed, the service is still the best in town, you go for dinner and you feel like home. It's that type of place where you know everyone and everyone knows you. I have been to a lot of restaurants, but at Desperados the team work this staff has is outstanding. The best deals of the week are on Wednesdays when the house margaritas are only 2 dollars. The Friday night bar staff is the best in town, those two are really a team, knowing the drinks of the customers before the customers sit down. Once again talking about the great service. Go to Desperados, I promise the food, staff, service are all wonderful. When your there your family.

By far Best Mexican Restaurant in Garland!. Desperado's is my favorite place to eat with family and friends! The Desperado's tacos (chicken) and the brisket tacos are amazing. Mike, the manager, makes it his personal duty to welcome us. We feel at home each time we visit. The sangria is to die for as is the fried cheesecake (I fell in love with it at the State Fair). If possible, go for lunch on Tuesday and try the brisket tacos with bar-b-que sauce...you will be hooked!
