I went here to buy a phone , when I seen people clearly on drugs selling stolen goods I didn't buy nothing . I don't spend money where they clearly are doing something illegal. I wonder if the phone that was stolen from me was sold here? Makes me wonder.
Good phone selection – I bought a Metro PCS phone from CommCentral yesterday. It was at a very good price and in excellent condition. They also gave me a 30 day warranty. I recommend them to anyone who wants to save a few dollars on a cell phone.
Much better price than AT&T ! – Our iPhone was dropped in the pool accidentally and died. We called AT&T and they wanted $450 for a replacement. This was not an option, so we found CommCentral in the Yellowpages. After hearing some of their prices, we decided to go to their store in Grand Prairie. We were greeted by courteous staff and Gordon helped us find an iPhone for $150. This was a much better solution to our issue. We wish we would have known about them years ago !

RUDE INCONSIDERATE STAFF – We found a cell phone they posted online, and wanted to go purchase it. We called at 5:50, stuck in traffic, and told them we were 15 minutes away. They close at 6, so we asked them if they would wait for us to arrive or if we should come back. We discussed the the phone we intended to purchase, and they told us to come on over. We arrived at 6:06, and the guy was driving off. He did not stop. We wasted almost an hour round trip, in a truck, with sky rocketing gas prices. I will NEVER give a dime of my money to a company who treats people like that.
Great prices on used phones. – We have purchased 3 phones from CommCentral over the last 4 years and are really happy with the service. They even threw in extra chargers for us !
terrible experience – I purchased a telephone through their e-bay store in early october. It's now January. I honestly feel that "buyer beware" is appropriate here, but I'll simply relay the details of my extremely frustrating experience.
I did receive the phone within a reasonable amount of time, however, the phone was missing small plastic pieces (covers usb port, etc), the headphone jack did not function at all, and the speaker did not function properly.
I messaged them, and they said they would sent a replacement right away. But not to return the battery or charger, because "the way that the process returns" would make it impossible for them to send those back.
The "replacement" arrives-- IT IS THE SAME EXACT PHONE. with the SAME EXACT defects.
I send another message. This time I'm instructed to return everything, and I will get a full refund. I do so (with delivery confirmation) and wait. I then get an email through pay pal that a shipping label had been created for my order?!?!
I quickly message them that this is a mistake, and to please not send this phone back to me, it was agreed that I would receive a refund. I get no response, which is odd because they responded very quickly to the initial message. Hmmm.
Of course, the phone arrives, sans battery and charger, but at this point I've already purchased a phone from a different vendor, so that doesn't even matter. I'm not keeping this phone. I refuse the package, and message them to let them know that i have done so. No response.
they did not respond for weeks. Luckily, i did a search and found their external website which had a phone number. I phone them, explain what has happened, and they assure me that the refund will be issued as soon as the phone is received.
fast forward 2 more weeks. No refund. I call back. I explain the issue to the woman who answers the phone. her response? Quote: "Well maybe you should contact e-bay." This was said with a condescending and extremely rude tone as well.
Speechless at the realization that I was going to have to explain to this woman how e-bay works, what pay pal is, and the fact that THEY need to issue the refund and not e-bay, I said slowly, "Ebay cannot issue my refund... it was from *your* ebay store?"
Luckily, someone else came to the phone. At least this person understands what e-bay is. He says that the refund was initiated and for some reason has not gone through, and that he'll address it.
I'll update if I do in fact ever receive this refund. Right now, I'm not holding my breath.
