What a racket!!!

The police call these guys, you are charged for towing, labor for towing, mileage and a per day rate, which is not discussed with you at the time of the tow. I wanted another tow company to pick up the car but the car was on the truck when I got there. ...over $500.00 dollars. My towing company quoted $125.00.

Unhappy with their service

I am very unhappy with my Pro Tow experience today. They highly underquoted the amount of time it would take to get to my house which is less than 4 miles from their place of business. I understand that they were busy, but if they would have provided me with an accurate quote I would have called another company and not ended up waiting almost 2 hours for my car to get picked up. I was equally frustrated with their hold message that spoke about good customer service when I didn't feel I was receiving good service.

The driver was professional and curtious and I do not blame him, but it seems like Pro Tow isn't learning from their mistakes. That is why I felt the need to give them a bad review. If they know customers become unhappy when inaccurately quoted, then they should work on improving their quote times.

Something EVERYONE should know

I would like to state this before another person goes all crazy on the FEE's that you are charged when a CITY or COUNTY calls out a WRECKER service THEY have contracts with. These fee's are not by the company or that cities police department. They are figured up by that cities Ordinance and so on and so forth. YOU PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THINGS LIKE THIS... I only say this because I myself had a bad exper with pro tow only because of RATES other than that the driver was so nice and helpful and when I had to call there office the woman I spoke to was VERY helpful as well. TEXAS I found out has alot to do with rates and fee's that these towing companies DON'T HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER.
