Drinks are cheap, plenty of pool tables open, but also they have shuffleboard which is awesome. Not many places have a shuffle board table. We have been going here a long time and will continue to go when we are able too.
WOMEN BEWARE!!!. This place is what I call the good ole boys club. Women need to make sure they are there with men they know if they even decide to go to this place. A waitress was raped by a customer last year and then fired for speaking out AND a few weeks ago another woman was raped in the parking lot. The manager and "bouncer" more like muzzle keepers, did nothing because the guy was a regular at the bar. Instead, when told what happened, they stood there, did nothing and let the guy leave. The woman decided to press charges and the Richardson police went to investigate. When they told the manager what happened, the manager got mad at the woman, surprise, surprise, and her friend for telling what happened. He then told the woman's friend to never come back. This place is full of pretty nice people for the most part but there are dangerous situations that happen all the time but they dont get publicity because the management keeps it under wraps. The parking lot is dark and the woman was raped in her car. It is by the highway but hidden mainly by trees. This is NOT the place for single women who want a safe environment so if you do go, go with a large group, do NOT be left alone at any time and make sure you have some guy friends around to do the job the bouncer should be doing. Stay safe and be smart because Wizards is nothing more than a place that turns their back when a woman is assauted. BEWARE!!!!
Great night out!. Had a great time here with co-workers. Cat has a great waitress and ensured we got everything we needed! Will be back soon!
Fun night out!.
I thought this place was pretty good. We were greeted by the hostess, who was really nice and welcoming. They had a live band and lots of seating, although it does get a little crowded later in the evening but what bar doesn't? The band was awesome and they had room for people to dance!
The place does have a sports bar type theme especially during the day - its a great place to bring a bunch of people who want to watch the Mavs or Cowbowys, etc. Tons of pool tables and the bar is huge. The food was really good, in particular the fish tacos and the bean soup. The pizza wasn't bad either, actually it was really good. I'd check it out!
Great manager. Been going off and on for years and manager and Sasha are great. Chere is also cool but haven't seen her lately. Great location and they just added three huge big screens that are awesome.
Great place, good beers and nice tables.
I play billiards here every week and they have are super nice and have a decent menu. I like the tables and the service.
Good beer selection - not just bud, miller bs. They also have big TVs and sound system if your into sports.
i love Wizards! it's a rockin' place with a HUGE clientele!
Awful Manager. Whatever you do don't leave anything there. I left a little stroller there after I was there watching the Auburn football game (with the Auburn DFW club). I could not go back to get it until the following Thursday and Mike the manager was extreamly rude and told me that "we must have thrown it in the trash", "that is your problem you should not have left it here". I will never go back and I suggest you don't either. I will never go back they have no concept of customer service. Thanks Mike.
Sports fans and singles from Dallas, Richardson and Plano gather at this massive sports bar just off Central Expressway..
The Scene
At more than 12,000 square feet, Wizard's is an enormous venue. There's red brick and wood throughout, as a bustling clientele enjoys an assortment of activities. Dozens of pool tables, a shuffleboard table, video games and dart boards all surround a round, elevated bar. Cocktail tables sit on stained-concrete floors in front of a performance stage and below two private "skyboxes" equipped with TVs, leather couches and a pool table.
The Draw
Wizard's offers a unique environment that blends top-notch sports viewing and bar gaming with a hip singles scene. Games on several large-screen TVs draw the majority of patrons, but an excellent bar scene and plenty of room to enjoy local cover bands makes it a popular destination for non-sports fans interested in mingling and making conversation. The menu offers a variety of tasty entrees--the smoked brisket plate is popular.
