In Short – Clean and simple--this strip-mall location features meal values--making it a popular destination for college students. The menu includes the vegetable curry-stuffed crepe masala dosa, a southern Indian favorite. From the north--where dishes are typically spicier--try pani poori, puffy potato-stuffed affairs served with spiced water. Experienced diners order the tandoor--spicy, marinated lamb, chicken or shrimp, skewered and baked in the clay oven over mesquite and served sizzling.

well this restaurant has taken a serious u turn, the quality has detiorated significantly.
Yesterday i was at this place for the buffet, the rates have gone up 10.99 and the food quality has gone down. the chicken had fowl smell and the raita was stinking.
The response of the staff to the bad smelling food was that please leave this and try something else!! that answers all your doubts regarding the restaurant.
well if still you want to invite health hazards and try this place out , do it at ur own risk cause i have got my feet wet twice.
- Pros: large seating capacity
- Cons: bad food

I have enjoyed Pasand for 4 years now. I had been going to Chaat Cafe and Masala Wok, but my palette is becoming sensitive to the subtle tastes of different curries and Pasand is head and shoulders above these two other places. Compare McDonnalds to a burger from a good steak place. The quality is fresh and the preparation is simple so the ingredients really shine. Chicken tikka masala had cubes of delicious chicken, never dry and you can tell the chicken was actually simmered in the curry sauce. Korma is delicious as well as the vindaloo - do not order this spicy, medium was hot enough. My favorite are the meat samosas - filled with spiced lamb, herbs, spices, nuts and seeds its a taste explosion in my mouth. Esspecially topped with some of the chutneys they offer with the Thali dinner. By the way, they have a buffet daily and have heard its great - never been tho.

I recently moved to Dallas.I just came to know about the Pasand through my colleague.I have been to so many Indian restaurants in different places like New york ,kentucky and new jersey ,From that experience I can surely tell that pasand indian cuisine is one of the best to have a good Indian food .The workers are very efficient and very courteous .
The food is very good ,especially their goat curry, masala dosa and lenntile soup are very good .I been to this restaurant for so many times .I am getting very good service every time I go there. Especially on last sunday when I went to that restaurant with my friends for the lunch (buffet) ,that restaurant was so crowded. It was very hard to find a table. But finally after 10min of waiting a waiter got a table for us. I was amazed when I saw the guys who are working there. They running to serve the customers.Every time when I go there I had never run out of water in my glass .Simply it is the best!
- Pros: Customer service and great food
- Cons: cost
