Big Yes! – I've been doing business with Earmark for over 20 years now. They are always very friendly and professional. I've had many cars tinted over the years and never had a problem. I've had small stereo purchases and never had a bad experience. I will not take my business anywhere else. The Manager is fair and cares about taking care of the customer. My experiences with Earmark and their staff over the years have always been pleasant. Thanks for always taking care of me.
good customer service – after being a bit underquoted on an estimate for a speaker box i was called by multiple employees who jumped through hoops to make the deal go thru.i was impressed by their customer service, and their work is always impressive!
Keep Looking! – If you want to feel appreciated as a customer and deal with competent sales people steer clear of earmark. Horrible customer service and unprofessional staff. Dont give this company your business they dont appreciate their customers. Needs a new management team!!!
No! – They require a deposit TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to have your car worke don. Who pays money up front for services (nothing tangible) to be rendered at some point in the future? And deposits are non-refundable. You find a better price, change your mind, wreck the car, too bad.
We are usually able to do installations immediately. Some customers prefer to schedule installation for a more convenient time for them, and during busy periods we may have a full schedule for the day. Deposits guarantee the customer a day/time on a technician's schedule. Customers who prefer not to put down a deposit on installation time are welcome also, but we cannot guarantee a technician will be available at your desired time and date without a deposit secured appointment time.
The best in the business – I have done business with Earmark in Plano for 15 years and I would recommend them to anyone. Very knowledgable and their installers do top notch work! And their prices are competitive with anyone. These guys have always taken care of me and treated me like I was important to them, even when I wasn't buying anything at the moment. They are locally owned and operated and the employees and management truly seem to care about their customers.
I have had Earmark in Plano tint the windows on 10 vehicles, apply the clearbra paint protection film on 3 vehicles, install security systems on 2 vehicles, install radar detectors in 3 vehicles and install stereo systems in 4 vehicles. I have always been satisfied with their service.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE – There is no one on the staff that is competent. I had a very bad experience and never got it resolved. If your car is damaged by them, tough luck. They take NO responsibility and don't know what they are doing in the first place.
If you are looking for an audio expert - keep looking. This bunch does not have any idea what customer service is and they have never heard of making the customer happy.

Earmark Plano installed a complete audio system in several of my vehicles and I always received good service, fair prices and expert installation.
Most recently I had a navigation radio, backup camera, amplifier, speakers and subwoofer system installed and it turned out perfect. The car was done exactly the way the salesman discussed with me prior to the work being done and was done when they promised it would be done. Everything looks and sounds great!
I also had paint protection film and Formula One window film applied to my car at the Plano store, and the work was top notch.
Horrible Customer Service, Careless , Thieves – HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered an Imprint unit for my Car stereo after Earmark forgot to properly right up a correct insurance report after my head unit was stolen out of my car. Instead of Insurance covering the imprint , they left it off the invoice and i had to cover the difference.
After ordering the Imprint, while waiting for my installation date the bone-head manager thought it would be a good idea to sell my Alpine Imprint that i had paid in full for, to another customer and not tell me. Thus when i arrived to have my unit installed in my car i was not notified of this thievery until i picked up my car two days after dropping it off. Within those two days i received no phone call or notification of any kind that the installation that i dropped my car off for would not be completed. Furthermore none of the installers, employees, or manager expressed any kind of apology or sympathy for their inconvenience and lying to their customer.
When i went to pick my car up i also noticed that they didnt properly re-install my head units and left several clips not properly inserted. Earmarks response was merely more excuses and not one single apology for their D- work and D- customer service. I forgot to add that the viper alarm and GPS in my nav also stopped working once i got my car back from them. I have a custom installed stereo and viper alarm that has worked perfectly for 5 years , then i started using Earmark 1 or twice over the past year and these problems always seem to come up.
Your review is not accurate.
First, Earmark does not "write up insurance reports". Earmark will provide our customers with copies of their receipts for insurance purposes, or we will privide an estimate for your insurance company based on the equipment that you request us to put on the estimate. Earmark did not make an error on any insurance estimate for you.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – Made an appointment to get windows tinted and guy never showed up. Person in store didn't care and said we could wait 2 hours if we wanted. Will NEVER return to another Earmark.
Poor customer service – Had formula one window tint installed on my 2010 F-150 sypercab. The tint was okay but they got soapy water streaks all down the side of my clean BLACK truck. Frank, the manager, refused to have his guys wipe it off. Something about not wanting to scratch customers vehicles.
So why not take precautions to protect the vehicles before doing the work?
