Great Taiwanese Dishes. Excellent food for the money. Portions are large and cheap!

The very best Asian cusine in Texas. The best Asian cusine in Texas. Talk about food unlike anywhere else you have ever been. The fried rice, and traditional dishes like Kung Pao is far from ordinary...If you like fish try the sauteed sea bass, salt and pepper sea bass, the mackrel appetizer, grilled salmon all at a fair price...and makes up for the semi rude waitresses (only a couple bad seeds in the group). A must go resaurant.

don't go for sush but for Taiwanese dishes. This is one of the chinese restaurant I go for CHINESE food, not for Japanese or Sushi.

Anything non-Japanese dishes is pretty good.

I haven't found any other chinese restaurant that sever decent taiwanese dish in DFW but Genroku.

Good food at a good price.. One of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Dallas. The only problem I have with them is the service is a bit rude. But great food at great prices.

Not the best sushi.... My girlfriend and I ate here on a Friday night. We finally found the place after a few minutes of driving around since the lights are out in their sign. In short the sushi was WARM and did not taste fresh. We also ordered a side of spring rolls and were met with an over-fried eggroll... Seriously when did a spring roll become a fried crouton? The service wasn't too impressive. The woman who served us didn't look clean and was in a hurry. I noticed that a majority of the clientele were of Asian decent. They were not ordering sushi, but rather the Taiwanese cuisine of the establishment. Perhaps this is their forte and not the sushi? Who knows? I will say that I will not be returning simply because I spent $66 for 3 orders of WARM nasty rolls and 2 orders of WARM nasty sashimi. The iced tea wasn't too bad though. Save your money and try another place. Most of the people who eat here looked like relatives or friends (Asians). I think we were the only white people. I love Asian people, but they didn't seem too friendly. Also, I asked to use the restroom and their soap dispenser doesn't work. My girlfriend is on the toilet right now as I write this to you. She is sick from eating at this place. This is a real review and don?t say I didn?t warn you. Peace out!

Best place to introduce your friends to Japanese cuisine. My parents found this hole-in-the-wall place several years ago. My Dad introduced sushi to our family during his many trips to Japan. Our family LOVES this place. The sushi is fresh and presented beautifully. Truly one of Dallas' hidden gems of sushi is at Genroku. Much more affordable than any other place in Dallas. I have introduced my friends to Japanese cuisine at Genroku, and it has been huge with them. Look for my family pic up on the wall. All 11 of us...smiling after a great meal at Genroku!!

What some hairy noodle and Spider in the Rollzzz.... This place is nasty! I had a spider roll and there were dead spider in the dish. Did I mention that the soda was full of dust. I also got a order of noodle and there were some hair in the noodle. I would not go there. It's nasty... The food is too salty and too much MSG.

There are sodas. There are actually sodas avaliable. The usual such as 7up, dr pepper, diet coke, etc. Also the Volcano sauce is excellent. You can ask for it if you are bored of dipping your sushi in soy sauce. Oh, and don't forget to omit wasabi in some sushis if you don't like it.
