Nu Tan Rockwall under new management. The previous owner/manager who the other reviews are referring to is no longer there. Just wanted to pass that along!!

BAD EXPERIENCE.. Not only is the owner a very weird character, he?s rude to paying customers. Even though I just paid for 20 sessions, I won?t be going back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!

Horrible Customer Service *Do Not Attempt*. Ok. i walked in only to find a man dressed as a hippie, watching the small t.v. they have behind the counter. I walked up to him, expecting him to turn & be friendly. That is not what happened. He turned, gave a head nod, & said "Yeah?" i told him i'd like to have the deal that was advertised on the window that read "30 tans for $19.99" he gave me a red card & a pen. as i was filling it out, he read along & i skipped over my DL# & SSN, curious why they would need it. i filled out the entire card with my information: name, DOB, address, email, etc. He said, oh, 89? you're still 17? & i said, yes.. do you need my parent to come sign something? (its common for a salons to require parent permission) he said yes, i'll give you the student discount, $35.99.

With that, i was shocked. "How is that a discount if the price goes up $16?! Are you saying Even with my parent, i can't get the deal offered?" he told me that they are not allowed to advertise to anyone under 18, & that if I would look, i'd find that EVERY ad for a tanning has fine print underneath that says you Must be18.

i then declined the entire thing, folding up the red card i had put my info on. he looked worried, & began reaching over the counter for it. this disgusted me, & i asked him what he was doing.

"I NEED that."

"Excuse me?"

"We have to have that card."

"But it has my personal information on it."

"Well, we signed a confidentiality contract, and we're not going to do anything with it."

He then had more than half of his body over the counter, grasping for the folded-up card & finally snatched it out of my hand, unfolded & glanced at it and put it under his keyboard.

As i walked out, my legs couldn't move fast enough to get the hell outta there.

As i was leaving, i noticed their advertisment does NOT have Any fine print about age.

This is a sleazy business & i do NOT reccommend them. Ultra Tan's workers aren't very polite, but you get what you pay for.

Do Not Go To Nu-Tan In Rockwall, TX.
