These guys are the best, bar none!!. I bought this policy when I was young and single. I'm no longer single or young, I'm still very happy with this group of people and my insurance coverage. They know me by name and Burl's son is the nicest guy ever, He even met me at Starbucks to change my policy. Consequently, many other companies have called, emailed, and mailed offers to me but I just disregard. The level of professionalism and service I get from this office is worth every penny. When you need to use the insurance it is quick and efficient.

Very Satisfied with Burl Wood. I've been with Burl Woods for 2 1/2 years. When I moved to Dallas, I went into what I guess was an executive office of State Farm. The receptionist told me I was in the wrong place. An employee of Burl Wood's was in the office and said I could follow him to the office. I had excellent customer service while I was in the office. Luckily, I have not had to file a claim, I have called the office several times to ask questions. I have always been greeted with a warm smile (even over the phone). All my questions and concerns are answered in a happy, helpful voice. The employees are one in a million. I feel very happy and satisfied when I hang up the phone. I NEVER feel like I am bothering them.

I have no idea if Burl Wood's insurance is expensive and I have no desire to even shop around to find out....I don't think it would matter. I have all the trust in the world that they will be there for me if I ever truly need them. I wouldn't want anyone else on my side if I get into an accident.

I hope Burl Wood reads these reviews and passes them to his employees. I appreciate you and Thank you for making me feel like you have my best interest at heart.

Keep up the GREAT customer service...I'll be a client for life.

Highly recommend. Very pleased quality of product/services, as well as reliability/integrity of Mr. Wood & his staff.. I've been with Burl Wood for too many years to count... at least 15, probably closer to 20! Needless to say, I have been very satisfied with their products & services. I have both homeowners & auto coverage with Burl Wood. Based on my experience as a customer over the years, I have every confidence that this company will be there when I need them. They are consistently prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable-- and they always come through with my claims with enough funding to get the job done. The staff are easy to work with, are helpful when problems arise, and give the impression that they want to provide excellent customer service. Whenever I meet directly with Mr. Wood to review my policies, he does a great job explaining my options & he will let me know if I am overinsured or if other updates need to be applied to my coverage. I know that Mr. Wood offers a wide range of products beyond those that I have purchased, but I have never felt pressured to buy anything I'm not looking for. With my discounts for being a long-term customer & having more than one policy, my rates are highly competative-- sales people from those "discount" providers have told me they can't beat the rates I'm getting with Burl Wood & State Farm. I would highly recommend this agent.

Helpful, Pleasant and they Actually know what they are doing!!!!. This agency really helps you understand insurance coverages. They even tell you what they reccomend if you have some insurance products elsewhere. I found them to be very helpful and always ready to serve. I have not filed a lot of claims but every single person I have talked to seems to know exactly what they are talking about and the best way to go about doing things. I have made lots of changes in the last few years and they don't make it seem like its an inconvenience like some other companies do. The sales people seem to genuinely care about what they are giving you and have data to explain why State Farm claims handling is one of the best. I found it hard to believe that anyone could review this agency with anything less than stellar remarks. I am not a person who goes into visit with there insurance company but LOTS of people do at this office ;I found out while I have been insured there. How could so many people make an effort to drop by and say hello if they were "not friendly" or had a bad additude. I think bottom line is people come on here when they don't get something paid or get there way and don't have the nerve to call up and discuss it. Maybe because they know its unreasonable or maybe b/c they just simply need to vent. When all is said and done they have to make money just like everyone else and although insurance companies get a bad wrap a lot of times...I wouldn't want anyone else helping through these situations. There is a reason this agency has been around as long as it has. Its people and service are GREAT!

Best place to go for your insurance. Best Agency we have ever encountered.....................we have been State Farm customers for over 20 years, and have lived in many cities..........Burl Wood's Agency (in Dallas) is by far the "best of the best"................our goal was the absolute best coverage that $$'s can buy at very competitive rates, and friendly and helpful Agents who will take the time to work with you.................they helped us to build the best and very well priced policy coverage.

Excellent Customer Service. I have found Burl Wood's office to be very knowledgeable and helpful in handling setting up new coverage and in submitting claims. They have gone out of their way to explain things so that I don't find out later that I had inadequate coverage or had purchased coverage I didn't need. My experience with other agents is that they simply want to sell you a policy. Burl's office seems genuinely interested in making sure you have the right coverage.

I've been with State Farm for over 18 years. EVERY claim i've had has been handled as quickly and easily as I could possibly imagine. I've been with several different agents and it seems that Burl's office goes above and beyond the efforts of other agents.

I couldn't help but notice that the 3 negative reviewers have only one review on their profile and their reviews occur in the same time period. Looks suspicious to me. Probably your typical drive-by internet coward. Rather than discuss a concern they have with a business they'd rather hide behind the internet and torch them from the anonymity of their keyboard.

And no, I don't work for State Farm, I'm just a fellow small-business owner offering a fair and balanced report.

Repeatedly Bad Service From This Office. It sure doesn't seem like it's asking too much to have my agent return my phone calls AND my e-mails, but this has happened twice now and I am switching to another State Farm office recommended by a friend. I don't like being taken for granted and I demand the same level of service from my providers as my customers understandably demand from me.

Never had a problem. I've used Mr. Wood's agency for almost 10 years (although I've never met him personally). I've filed 2-3 claims (theft related) and never had a problem. Payment was prompt and never questioned my claims. I do tire of all the sales materials in the mail, but I've found them to be VERY easy to work with and just switched my auto insurance over to them.

Doesn't Pay Claims. Burl Wood finds every means possible to not pay claims owed to their clients - customer service is very rushed and poor

Horrible service. Burl Wood's staff has atrocious customer service and embarassingly poor attitudes when you call in... The women that answer the phones are belittling and unbelievably rude - not to mention, they are thrilled to take your annual insurance premiums but are impossible to get claims paid on when you need them! Unless you want to be insulted and feel inadequate by your insurance provider, I highly, highly suggest that you take your insurance business needs eleswhere!
