Pet DepotWow I should have listened to my wife when she told me look at the people that work there they look like they don't shower let alone take care of a pet. My daughter had been bugging me for about a year to buy her a bird as a pet but I refused due to the fact we had several pets already but being a daddy's girl I gave in and said ok. She picked a nice blue parakeet that was all alone in a cage that should have been a sign there. Well for the first couple of days my daughter got the bird to sit on her head and sing and come to her when she called I did notice his feathers where fluffing up through out the day and thought nothing of it. I would say she spent 3 hours a day with this bird and quickly fell in love. Then came the today I woke up this morning to get her bird to clean the cage water, etc like she was told to do she was not here because she spent the night at a friends house. I noticed "Charlie" was laying at the bottom of the cage just slowly breathing which was odd because he was very active and playful. I knew if something was to happen to this bird it would devastate my daughter so I looked up vets that specialized in birds and found one in Allen. I rushed the bird there hoping some fluids or something would bring him back Wrong! I called the lady at the pet store explained what I was doing and told her I was on my way to the vet and her reply was sounds like a respitory problem it's not gonna make it you should just get a new one well guess what she was right on the money! The doc came in and said the same thing but also mentioned we must have bought it like that no wonder she knew what was wrong with it! Well my daughter is devastated crying her eyes out and all because I knew better but didn't listen. They put the bird to sleep and now my daughter is left with the pain of a bird she bonded with dead! Don't buy from here these people they are dirty white trash! You can tell by there poor hygiene that these poor animals are in bad health..
the best pet store in texas.
this store has everything you could wan't in a pet store.
i read the comments from the lady that was made about her paperwork from three years ago and i think she has lost her everloving mind. the puppy she bought was probably not akc registered and akc won't let you bread with their kennel club unless both the parentsare registered throughakc. but, i think that if you recieved your papersfrom the registry that the puppy was registered through you shouldn't gripe. you got what you paid for. next time you buy a puppy, don't blame the pet store for you not research the paperwork first. there are approx.38-50 different kennel clubs. not all of them require parent information. maybe you should apologize for slandering a great pet store because you didn't read your paperwork and assumed that all dogs are akc registered.
Worst pet store in Texas!. I bought a King Charles Cavalier puppy in August 2007 and was told it was full-blood. The manager told me I should have done more checking on them and the owner, Mike Fowler, refuses to take any calls. I filed complaints and the owner refused to answer them. I knew better than to buy a pet from a pet store, but he was so cute and they promised he was really full-blood. I would recommend going anywhere besides this store to buy a pet. What do I do now about my puppy?
