Fantastic everytime!. I had a hard time not giving 5 stars to truluck's, but with a gazillion steak places in the DFW area it is hard to give it the entire 5 stars... maybe Pappa's Bros. I cannot speak for much for the seafood here since I am more of a meat and potatoes gal but I CAN speak for the steak and specifically the filet mignon! Always cooked medium how I like it and with a juicy rustic flavor.

Service is prompt, friendly and the wine list has great offerings... love the Rosenblum (CA) pinot noir! Considering there is usually a little bit of a wait to be sat, the basket of bread is promptly placed in front of you just when you are feeling the uncomfortable pit in your stomach! Relief!

If you like chowder you have GOT to try the crab & corn chowder... so yummy and i actually had to make a special trip on a cold winter evening just for that chunky yet not-too-chunky chowder!.....

good experience. the food is always delicious, no matter what trulucks you go to. the crab claws and the carrot cake hit the spot everytime. my boyfriend and i love the 35$/person full course menu, a 3 course meal for 2 for under $100, such a good deal considering the quality of food. we ate at the mckinney location for the first time a few weeks ago. it was our mistake for not making a reservation beforehand on a friday night, so wait time was expected. my only complaint was that our server was not very attentive; did not even get our drink orders until about 15 minutes of waiting at the table. manager was making walk thrus and brought us our bread and butter after our salad was served. none of the other servers seemed to have as much trouble with balancing their tables as ours, but it is partly our fault for not reserving on a friday night, her service definately doesnt change my opinion about trulucks in general

Flawless!!!. We celebrated our anniversary at Truluck's and it was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious as usual, we ate the knife and fork caesar salad to start, classically served with white anchovies, wow!! The king crab was the biggest and best I've ever tasted and my husband had a NY strip cooked perfectly. We ordered the chocolate cake for a dessert to share and were blown away at the size and how moist it was, needless to say it was the best chocolate cake ever. You must try it. The best part was the anniversary card signed by the entire staff and the chocolate truffles they sent home with us.Thank You for making our evening such a memorable one. We'll recommend Truluck's to everyone.

Great steaks and seafood, maybe a bit pricey. My wife and I went to Trulucks after a Dallas Cowboys game and I am glad we did. This place is really nice and the food is above average. The steaks are top quality and the seafood taste very fresh. The service was awesome and the waiter was very knowledgable. If you like wine, this is the place to go, they have over 100 bottles of wine by the glass. Be prepared to spend about 35 bucks per person.

Great food, excellent service. Great food. This place has to be one of the best steak and seafood places in Dallas. Excellent wine list. It can be very pricey but it is worth it. there is not many places you can say that about.

Delicious seafood in Dallas. This is a great spot for fresh seafood - especially if you're looking for crab! We started with the tomato and bacon salad which is a great choice if you love tomatoes. The tomato was served whole with the warm bacon and dressing in the middle. I ordered halibut for my entree and requested to have it blackened. It was perfect! My co-worker ordered the 1 lb. Dutch Harbor King Crab and said it was the best he had ever eaten. You have to try the jalapeno potatoes - they are out of this world! We also had the sweet potato fries...so needless to say we didn't have room for dessert.

If you are gonna get CRABS, this is your place.. Great place for any occasion. Lunch is great and affordable with spectacular service; you can not beat 3 courses for 15 bucks. Great place to unwind for dinner the restaurant is very upscale without the feeling of being overly pretentious. They have an option of a wine flight where you get four different tastings of wine from moderately priced to the higher end of the menu. I have been many times and it is hard to pick which is my favorite day to go. It is definately a toss up between the belt busting Monday night's all you can eat Stone Crab or the Sunday Brunch where you can get an ubelievable Truluck's Benedict, its Eggs Benedict over a crab cake. I don't know who thought about this concoction but they should win an award. It does not stop there either, you will be overly impressed with a slice of the heavenly layered chocolate cake or the carrot cake. Each of these peices comes out about a foot tall and more dense and rich than a Dallas Cowboy lineman. If you haven't been, give it shot. I might just see you there.

After noshing crabs and oysters this fresh, diners might forget Dallas is landlocked at this Uptown steak and seafood restaurant.. In Short
This curvy, chrome fine diner is straight out of glamorous 1950 Miami, the kind of leather banquette joint Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra would've ducked into for a bottle of vino rosso and some good shucks. A glass wall alludes to the marina life. Yellow orchids, silver crabs and soothing pastels feed the senses while diners await peppercorn cowboy ribeyes, cream of poblano soups, chicken walnut blts, veggie benedicts, breakfast tacos, or grilled lobster tails.

Very Pleased. I've been to three of the four Truluck's in Texas (I haven't been to the one in Austin yet). Overall I can complain only a little. The service is generally friendly, the food is seasoned just right, and the waiters/waitresses are very honest with you. I cannot complain about their dessert; I'm a big fan of the Mocha Mud Pie. The one I've had the least favorable experience would be the one in Addison. I only went their once by myself and they sat me in a booth for four next to the kitchen door. FOUR (4) different waiters ended up serving me that night. Other than that, kudos to Trulucks. I recommend a reservation for evenings.
