Great Styles. Jamies is one of the best hairstylist around. She's been doing my hair for years and I have never been disappointed! Every time its a new fresh look that rolls in complements everywhere I go! Gleasons is a very professional upscale salon that I enjoy going into!

Fun Place!. I have gone to several salons here in Dallas. Gleason's

is one of the best places to get a makeover (cut & color) and have fun while you are doing it. It has all the features of a nice upscale salon without all the stuffiness. You can relax and be yourself. They say laughter is the best medicine, well I have never been there without getting my fair share of it. The staff is friendly. The salon is clean. I have never had so many compliments on my hair before. I literally get complimented every day by my customers, friends, & family. I have not only found a cool salon, I have also found some new friends for life. Thanks for making me beautiful!

Gleason's is the best!. I've been in the Crescent for over 15 years. Several years back I stopped going to Gleasons and got my hair cut when I traveled to NYC until Danae Reynolds took over ownership and then I went back to Gleasons. Danae cut my hair for years (gave the best neck massage) and when she moved she recommended Jamie. It was a great recommendation. Jamie cuts it just the way I like it. She's very professional and very good. A nice addition is that she is very pleasant to visit with... I must say the new owner Patrick has been great too! He really caters to the working professions in the downtown area. I would not go anywhere else! And to think I used to pay $250 for haircuts in NYC... Thanks Gleasons and thanks Patrick and Jamie!! P.s. get a shine from Jimmy – he’s the best!

Former Stylist Gave Last 4 Bad Reviews. The last 4 reviews were written by a stylist who is no longer working in this salon... Please proceed past these as they were posted out of anger and not a true reflection of the salon or the stylists who work at Gleason's. Just an attempt to hurt someone's business. It's very sad that everyone can't run and manage their own business.

Unprofessional Atmosphere. The current ownership has totally changed the atmosphere of the salon and not in a good way. Not uncommon to hear foul language by the stylists - this is not the same salon as in years past and will definitely be moving my business elsewhere. Definitely one of the worst haircuts I've ever had!!

Going downhill. Had Jamie cut and color my hair for the first time since my normal stylist was gone. It is the worst I have ever had in my life!! The color was extremely uneven and chunky and the style was several inches shorter than what I requested. I had to make another appointment immediately with my normal stylist; there's no way Jamie's going near my head ever again. Gleason's used to have style and prided itself on quality; guess that changes with owners too. Do NOT go here; you will severely regret it.

What happened to the Professional's???. I stopped by and found out that some of the top Professional people were gone!!!! What I found instead were loud, obnoxious, gabbing on their phones instead of paying attention to their clientele types!!! I will NOT be back to this salon!!!!!!!!

New Ownership, Most stylists have left. Horrible atmosphere. Gleason's is under new ownership from what I understand. There are new stylists and a completely different atmosphere. The stylists seem much more interested in talking amongst each other or on their cell phones than dealing with their patrons. Very loud, unprofessional, zoolike atmosphere. Everyone in our office is trying to locate the girl's that had been working at Gleason's for years when it was a "crescent type" professional salon.

Gleason's is the best!. I have been going to Jamie for over a year now and I

come in from Baton Rouge just to get my hair done

at Gleason's. Jamie is excellent with color and highlights

and the atmosphere is so warm and comfortable, I always

leave with a big smile! Patrick

and Christine are excellent as well and lots of fun!

It's a small shop where you get personalized service.

I don't mind the trip from Baton Rouge and when I'm in Austin, I drive 3 hours just to make my appointment with Jamie!

Go see Jamie!. Jamie did a great job with my highlights and haircut. She listened to me and did my highlights just like I asked. I have never seen anyone cut hair so fast - and she gave me such an awesome haircut. The salon is nice and clean and I will definitely go back to see Jamie!
