Where Dallas residents buy the freshest produce in the city.. In Short
Although known for the vast selection of fresh-from-the-farm produce, the farmers market offers much more. Flowers in every shape and arrangement, as well as a variety of choice meats are for sale, along with the freshly picked vegetables and fruits. Cooking classes and other events take place here as well.

a fun Sunday morning. We used to have a tradition of going out to breakfast at Lucky's on a Sunday morning and then heading down to the Farmer's Market. It's beautiful there, with all the vegetables and fruit all displayed for your perusal. As long as you can mostly ignore the high-pressure sales pitches from the vendors (peach?? tomato, miss?? papaya?? peach?? tomato?? over and over and over again!), then you should enjoy yourself. AND, you can end up with enough fresh vegetables to last you through most of the week.
