Dallas >The Butcher Shop Steakhouse
Make your own mind up and try it!. My friends and family LOVE this place the food is amazing, I work for a large Hotel brand so I explore with food, in order to recommend to our guests and this place is one of the top three Steak houses in Dallas (based on my opinion only)... but let me tell you I know food!!! The service can use an upgrade but the food and atmosphere make up for it!! TRY IT.
Diners choose a filet and grill it to their liking at this do-it-yourself barbecue..
Dark woods, white tablecloths and the aroma of sizzling meat greet customers. Patrons can grill their dinner over hickory briquettes on a pit barbecue or let the chef cook it. The dining room grills are large enough to accommodate big groups. Steak choices vary from eight to 24 ounces and include tenderloin, T-bone, rib eye and New York and Kansas City strips. The kitchen also prepares chicken and seafood. Dessert options include a house-made cheesecake.
Best Steaks in the West End. What can I say about the Butcher Shop? Im speechless... I can not find the perfect word that can describe such a GREAT place...they have great waitstaff (very polite and attentive), great steaks (cooked exactly to ur perfection) and the best drinks... I had a great time and I will be back very soon!!!
The Best in Down Town. Butcher Shop in my opinion is the best steak house restaurant in down town. They have great service and the food is fantastic. Not only is the service and food good but the place itself is very ellegant and it provides a relaxing environment. After you have relaxed yourself for a while you can also enjoy yourself with your friends or family playing pool or playing in the slot machines. I'll definetaly come back to Buthcer Shop with more friends to experience such a great time as I did before.
My husband and I love this place!. We live here in dallas and love this steak house. I am unsure why the others said such nasty things? ( seriouse diner only had one review...so is he REALLY a serious diner? ha! ) We walk down to the West end alot and love to cook our own steaks and have a happy hour or two at the butchershop. There are alot of fun things to do in this city and we love an occasional steak as well. the butchershop has never dissapointed us and I find the pricing to be very fare as well. Give them a try I think you will like them . They are on the Best of Steaks voting poll this month as well and you don't get on that list by being a bad staek house ;)
The Worst Resteraunt Ever.
Horrible Service Rude
Waiter said "i dont care what you think " when i said i think this is not what i ordered
other waiter said forgot items, skipped people from our group when taking orders we were a party of 8
2 other groups of people left because no one took order werent even that busy
By far the worst resteraunt in Dallas or the Country I eat out about 5 times a week take clients out thank god i went with just family
every mistake in the book
I have never written in these survey's but i had such a bad experience that i want to tell everyone
plus the steak was cold
cold meat. The shrimp martini was bitter and tasted like green olives from an old jar . The10 oz filet was served at room temperature. The 18 oz angus aged ribeye was mostly fat and also seved room at temperature. Both steaks were tough and chewy. I feel sick to my stomach. The food came out out fast. The waiter never asked me how my food was, probably a good idea. The Butcher Shop is with out a doubt the worst steak house I have ever been to in my life. What a waste of money.
On business trip. I was sitting in my hotel room in Dallas, and wanted to go have a nice meal so i looked on Citysearch and found The Butcher Shop Steak House within walking distance. I was dining alone and sat at the bar and ordered my meal and had a few drinks. The bartender was great and the place has a great feel about it. I had a great time!
My Kids Cooked Steaks. My family and i had a great experience at Butcher Shop steakhouse on Saturday night. My 2 sons wanted to cook some steaks on the grill for the first time (made them feel like big boys they said). The cooks helped me and them during our time at the grill. They burned a few peices of Texas Toast, but that is part of the fun. All the staff is great and friendly. The food was great!!!! It won't be our last visit, we promise!!!!
Fantastic service, very comfortable atmosphere. For the second year running, I was able to secure a semi-private area for a group of Navy Intelligence retirees (with a smattering of Marines tossed in for good measure) at The Butcher Shop. The atmosphere of the dining area enhanced the camaradarie of all concerned, and of course, the waitstaff were attentive and cordial, no one waiting long for anything, from drinks to meals to deserts. I also noted lots of us had carry-out boxes toward the end, leaving not much of anything for the dumpster. Great service, great food, great place to go for an evening of renewed friendships. Thanks again!
