Out of Towners. Great place to take out of town guest, you also get the opportunity to visit te West End since they back up to each other. A great choice if you want to do something other than shop with your guest!

The legacy of President John F. Kennedy and his assassination is chronicled at the infamous site overlooking Dealey Plaza.. In Short
The spacious sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository allows visitors to walk unaccompanied among the open, partitioned displays. Highlighting the tour is the corner window and the vintage cardboard boxes that formed Lee Harvey Oswald's sniper's nest. Other permanent collections recount the legendary president's rise to power, his years in the White House and insiders entertaining possible conspiracy theories. A 90-minute audio tour, available upon request, enhances the overall experience.

MAINLY FOR ADULTS. The Sixth Floor Museum is a unique and interesting compilation of data on JFK, his life and his death. However, I found it to be very intense, not in a bad way but young children could not comprehend what this means to our nation, past or present. They may become bored or even overwhelmed with all there is to see here. And that would take away from this unique experience for adults. If you go, you have to go all the way through to get to the journal books at the end where you can write your reflections on what you've seen and heard.
