Awful. Total disappointment! Since the restaurant's reviews were good, I gave it a try but... the dishes I ordered (Pho and a Vietnamese dish) were just okay with so simple flavoring. While I was eating, due to their usage of MSG, I felt so thirsty.. :(

Second chance, worth the trip. The first time my husband and I tried this restaurant, I hated it. The service was fine, and his pho looked good, but I tried the buffet. I would not reccommend it. The food was bland, dry, and cold. when we decided to reinstitute "date night", this was the first place we went, since he likes it so much. I decided to give it another shot. This time, I tried the pho. It was some of the best I have ever tasted. I have had better, but not in Dallas. The only issues I had on this trip were the lack of parking (until I was told I could park behind the restaurant), and the fact that they had remodeling going on while we were eating. More than anything, it was just loud. It was in another room, so we were definitely not actively impacted. The food more than made up for the noise. We will definitelty be going back here again.

Terrible service. There were only 14 people in the restaurant and I waited and Had to flag down someone or everything, a drink, to order, to get a refill and to go container. Was not checked on once.

Best Pho In Dallas. Of all the places in Dallas I have had Pho Vietnam Restaurant is by far the best! Broth is full of flavors and served with a generous amount and variety of herbs. In addition, their Vietnam spring rolls are awesome (crispyest I have ever seen) as well as their salad rolls.

Hands down the best place in Dallas. I have been going to Vietnam since I discovered just how much I love Vietnamese food. This place is great, even my four year old loves it. The service is top notch and the food is unbeatable. The scene is quiet and secluded which to me is perfect. The last thing I want is a loud meal. I will continue to go to Vietname as long as they decide to keep the doors open for me.

The BEST Dish isn't on the Menu.... I've been going to this spot for years. The staff is truly great...

A while ago they took BEEF UNDERDONE off the menu... and it is truly their best dish! They sear thin strips of beef in citrus juices and serve it over an interesting salad medley... watch out for the jalapenos!

Take a bottle of wine with you since it's BYOB. It's off the beaten path. It's authentic. It's original... and I THINK IT'S THE BEST!

No longer a hole in the wall... Stopped by tonight for dinner after at least a year since my last visit. I on my way I had told my friend that we were headed to a hole in the wall with good food but when we got there I noticed that they have renovated. New awnings and signage, fresh paint inside and nicer tables and chairs. The building is historic and has its own charm now that it has been cleaned up. Parking wasn't an issue at 7:30-8PM on a Saturday night. Plenty of it. The neighborhood isn't the greatest (if you go a block in any direction it can look a little rough but on Bryan near Vietnam there are no real concerns. No complaints about the service but I did find it odd that they did not bring me a check and my waiter disappeared after we got our to go box. When I asked a waitress she said something about paying at the cashier so we went up and had to tell them what we had. I don't remember that being an issue last time but it was late and well over a year ago.

Anyway, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. Spring rolls were the highlight.

Cheap but very good food. From the outside of the restaurant one would never know how good of a place this really is. We went for their lunch buffet and we were very surprised at the selection of food. The lunch buffet was reasonably priced and the taste of the food was pretty good.

a 15 year affair. Once you've had the hot and sour soup, you'll crave it the rest of your life. The spring rolls are the best anywhere. Why on earth would you stand around at PF Changs with a silly buzzer in your hand and pay four times as much for the something even better you can get here. I can't get enough of this place.

Get your downtown Pho Fix here!. This joint used to be a downmarket place to grab some top notch vietnamese food (for me Pho in particular brought me in the door). Recently, they have re-decorated the interior and it is no longer rough around the edges. The walls have a fresh coat of cream colored paint and new tile has replaced the worn dirty carpet.

Fortunately, the food has not changed a bit. This is the best Pho available in downtown and uptown and the iced coffee is the perfect finish toa great meal. A buffet is served during lunch on weekdays with typical asian fare, but why anyone would eat off the buffet rather than ordering from the menu is beyond me.

Wholeheartedly recommended.
