Awesome sandwiches, fun attitude!.
There's something here for everyone. The menu is HUGE and you're guaranteed to find something you've never tried before every time.
Little known secret, the queso is made fresh in house and will change your life.
You can even get a free beer with your sandwich during happy hour on Thursdays!
PD Rip-Off and Weak Quality. I had the displeasure of a first visit to PD Johnson's. My awful sandwich, "The Nooner", consisting of turkey, lettuce, swiss, avacado, shredded lettuce, one slice of tomato, and ranch dressing, on a sawdust roll was an $8.00 mistake. The so called "sourdough" bread was a bland crumbly roll of defication. The quality of the meat was a step above that really cheap processed, paper thin, mystery meat you get at the grocery store. And the service, was more interested in talking to her homeboy co-workers than offering anything close to service. Awful, awful, awful... won't be back... EVER!
Average sandwhich thats way overpriced!. I was excite about trying PD's but I was very disappointed with the service and the taste of the sandwiches. I went with 2 other friends and 2 out of 3 orders got messed up. My sandwich was not what I ordered. My friend's order was also messed up and when he told them it took them 10-15 minutes for him to get another sandwich! I didn't want to wait so i just ate mine. The taste of the sandwiches were just average for the price. Also, just 1 sandwich that was about a foot long was almost 9 dollars! I don't think I will ever go back to this Deli.
Quick service fantastic sandwiches. yum! that's all I have to say about their roast beef on rye. I've been to P.D's on a few different occasion's and have always found it to be a wonderful experience.
User review by akj. Great sandwich, would eat there again! I stopped in for a sandwich, and it was ready quickly!
Basic sandwiches built with fresh ingredients sold under naughty names..
In Short
How could you not love an establishment that has eats named "Hot Johnsons," "Nooner" and "Woody" on the menu? Walking into P.D.'s is a bit like walking into a friend's college dorm room with old album covers, quirky newspaper clippings and rusting license plates decorating the walls. For non-sandwich lovers, there's a choice of salads, soups and baked potatoes. The Rice Crispy treats and brownies are as good as homemade and Top 40 tunes keep the place rockin'.
two sisters. run by two sisters this is a fun place for a huge sandwich and a cold beer, great value and fun atmosphere. Its a sandwich joint, ok ?
