I would highly recommend Dr. Lawson

I have been a patient of Dr. Lawson's for the past 4 years and can say nothing but positive things about my experience. It is so hard to find a great OB/GYN and I was lucky to get a recommendation to Dr. Lawson shortly after moving to the city. Dr. Lawson takes the time to discuss your situation, future and/or current plans and is willing to listen to you regarding your health concerns. When I have had any issues or lab results, Dr. Lawson has personally called me (even on nights and weekends) to inform me of anything one would consider important. Her staff is amazing, always pleasant and willing to assist. The nurses are very easy to get in touch with and actually return phone calls promptly. Further, the office is located in an accessible area with lots of parking and the office facilities are clean and pleasant. The office is effecient and I am usually seen by the doctor at or around my appointment time. I have never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room area.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lawson and her practice.

• Pros: On-time appointments, great communicator, responsive staff, ease of location
• Cons: for annual appts, it is not the most plesant way to spend an hour of your day.

Competent, caring, compassionate

I have been seeing Dr. Lawson now for about 5 months and have been very satisfied with the level of care she has provided to treat my condition (endometriosis). She has proven to be knowledgeable about this enigmatic disease and up to date on the lastest treatment options. Her office staff is warm and friendly (although they do have a problem returning phone calls) and I have rarely waited in office for more than 15 minutes to see her. Most of all, I value Dr. Lawson for her ability to "tell it straight" and explain things thoroughly, without glossing over difficult side effects of medication or trying to hurry me out the door. I am fortunate to have found her.

• Pros: knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly, good (free) parking, comfortable waiting room
• Cons: office staff not the greatest at returning phone calls, lots of babies in waiting room (tough for couples with infertility issues)
