The Scene – Up front, a small bar area provides an area to sit on a busy night. The cozy dining room with brick walls, butcher paper on red tablecloths and colorful artwork is quiet enough for conversation, whether it's the latest business deal or a first date. Casually dressed waiters offer helpful advice on the wine list. When weather permits, patrons dine outside, people watching the Knox Street traffic. Diners range from deal makers to neighborhood families. – – The Food – The traditional menu offers pasta and pizza options with a large amount of vegetarian…

This place always has very attentive staff, and always willing to make the customers happy. Will gladly let you bring your own wine in, although their wine list is very good and priced appropriately. They usually have some good wine features running too. The Gnocchi with sausage was divine.
- Pros: great pesto, great gnocchi, awesome wine list
- Cons: patio could use some cooling in the summer
Worst Customer Service Ever!

So four girls decide to meet for lunch at this Italian restaurant near our office. The lunch menu is good and we order a grilled chicken with bow tie pasta dish off of it. Clearly asking for the lunch deal.
The plates start coming in, we first get a salad. Both my friend and I are happy. As in the case of most restaurants we go to, Lunch Menu always offers a salad or an appetizer of sort with the main course, so we thought it was pretty normal and did not question it. Then after lunch they served us the dessert, it was not until then we thought something was funny. First off the Tiramisu they gave us was something that was not even as good as what I make at home...and then they give us with a bill of $17.95 for the meal ($20 including tip)
When we questioned the waiter he told us that he had given us the three course meal deal. That was surely stupid because we did not ask for one. So I told him politely that we only wanted the lunch deal. He took our cards with him and said he will take care of it.
He comes back and before handing us the credit card receipts asks us when we thought we would return to that restaurant, for which both me and my friend told him "not anytime soon."
We were not expecting anything from him, but when he started asking questions we thought he was probably going to give us a gift card or a future discount. Instead the guy has the audacity to tell us that the next time we are there he would give us a deal.
So this person thought that we would be stupid enough to return there pay another $20 and then expect a discount of $2...making business out of his mistake too. I was so disgusted that I have decided never to go back there. I still cannot digest the fact that I paid $20 for a very average restaurant and meal.
- Pros: The salad was brilliant and the dressing good.
- Cons: The food was below average and the customer service was non-existent. One of my friend's ordered a bruschetta and it came in after 45 mins,
great food, friendly staff, highland park atmosphere

This is the original momo's. New location, same great food. I was suprised to see such a diverse menu - and the vegetarian selections are fantastic. Try the house wine and the rotolo verde, it is the best homemade pasta in dallas, period.
