A revolving front door in a mexican restaurant??. Chips... ok. Nothing special.

Salsa... awful. A bowl of finely diced tomatoes and a smidge of seasoning. We had to pay $2.00 extra for a small plate (4 0z.) of much better tasting stuff.

Margaritas... $8.00 for a 10 oz. glass of crushed ice with virtually a hint of lime. At least I could taste some alcohol.

The enchilada plate was bland. The two enchiladas were not much bigger around than my thumb. Light on flavor. Rice and beans were ok. My wife's fajitas were large slabs of chicken with the usual peppers and onions. There were slices of potatoes made to resemble the chicken in an attempt to make it look you're getting more.

Overall... a sucky experience and overpriced. Nearly $50 for two basic meals and two drinks ( plus tip ). The service was good.

This place looks like they are trying to attract the more trendy/beautiful people crowd (there weren't any) instead of focusing on better food.

Drinks are outrageously expensive. Hello;

We met for a holiday lunch at the Mi Cocina in the Galleria, but I'm sure all locations are the same. I ordered a moderately priced lunch combo ($8.95) and I was shocked to see that the one cocktail (a regular Bloody Mary) cost more than the lunch--$10! Being on a strict budget, it spoiled the entire experience. $10 for a single-shot cocktail in a casual restaurant is outrageous. Although I don't regularly order alcohol with lunch, I won't be going back to any of the locations of Mi Cocina, even though one is a half mile from my house. It's the principal.

Si mangia bene. Questo ristorante ha una buona cucina, il clima è ottimo, ideale per una cenetta romantica. Un po' fuori mano, sono necessarie diverse ore di volo per arrivare, ma sicuramente ne vale la pena. Il personale è molto accogliente. Ciao

Great Customer Service. .I?m a big fan of mi cocina specially of the Legacy location they have the best customer service since you got there the atmosphere is excellent, The Hostess the servers and the managers really make you fell like you are a VIP.

Best Margarita in town! The food's good too!. Any good night must always start with a tasty margarita... and these folks have got it down. Between the Mambo Taxi and the Mambo #5, one or two willl have you smiling! To top it off, the service is always impeccable, and the food is great as well. Any night of the week, you can come in and have a great experience... but Fridays and Saturdays, expect a wait!

Wonderful food and drinks!. I went to this location on a Sunday afternoon. After shopping around, the food and drinks were perfect! We split the enchiladas and cheese dip...and of course, we had to get the "Mabo Taxi". I loved it all and was quite perfect for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Somewhat quite.

If you are looking for the location that is hip, go to Uptown ...but be prepared for the wait!

Great margaritas!. Not only are the margaritas fantastic...the food is wonderful. Mi Cocina is a place with great atmosphere, tasty, fresh food and excellent service...how can you go wrong?

Overrated!!!!!!!!!!!!11. Besides having the worst margaritas I have ever had at a mexican restaurant, the service is slow and unfriendly. The food is good, but not great. I do like the Sunset Fajita, but its hard to screw up fajitas. And to top it off, its overpriced. We have been dragged here by friends, but it consistently fails to impress.
