Massage Therapy. My massaage by Crystal Biggs is more than a "feel good" experience. She is a therapist; she fixes what hurts. She makes my muscle and joint pains go away. She works at the affected area until it is better.
Deceptive at Best.
Aqua says they offer services at both McKinney and Hillcrest locations, but we found that after we signed up for services at McKinney, we were repeatedly told we had to go to Hillcrest location for treatment.
Hillcrest location is small, crowded, and very public. Treatment rooms can be viewed directly from 'lobby'. Personnel were very indiscreet with personal information.
I know there are much better places in Dallas, so I would urge you to keep looking - no need to stop at Aqua!
Beware.... I live in Houston and my friend was moving from Houston to Dallas so I thought I would buy here a gift. I went onto Aqua's website and purchased a gift certificate for $100 in July. It's now August and I see that Aqua has charged me again for a $100 gift certificate. When I called them it seems that they did charge the $100 gift certificate in July and put the credit under my friend's name and then for some reason they decided in August to charge me $100 and put it under my name. I know I did not do this because I am not about to drive 4 hours to a salon!! The girl on the phone said she couldn't do anything about it now but tomorrow they would decide how they were going to get my money back to me. REALLY??? You illegally charged my card and you want to decide how you are going to get my money back to me?? How about you just credit the card you weren't to charge in the first place. If I don't hear from them in the morning I'm calling my bank and then the BBB.
High-tech gizmos and powerful potions--this is serious skin care in University Park..
The Scene
Beauty junkies get their fix at this narrow storefront, where a library-style ladder yields access to floor-to-ceiling glass shelves teeming with de rigueur products in snappy packaging. This popular skin-care spa is a favorite with SMU coeds, new moms who've already lost the weight, and age-defying socialites. Decor is whimsical and modern: an orange and blue interior with water-themed accents, like porthole-shaped mirrors.
The Services
Facials and full-body treatments are the mainstay here, but Aqua also prides itself on staying up-to-the-minute with various medi-spa offerings: powerful chemical peels, Botox and Restalyne injections, diode-laser hair removal, sclerotherapy injections to eliminate spider veins. Patrons can also schedule a massage (choice of either table or chair), scalp treatment or eyebrow arch.
The Details
Massage, body treatments, facials, medi-spa treatments, hair removal.
