Bad Color Job!

Just made my another trip back to the Snider Plaza location. I had my hair highlighted and colored there for the second time this week. Lou was my colorist and was recommended by the appointment desk. The first time was not at all satisfactory and the the second time was worse. I don't think she really listened to what I wanted and didn't offer for me to show her magazine photos to make sure we were on the same page. Will never use her or that particular location again.

Best Salon in Dallas

I've been to other upscale salons (like Matthew Tully and Richard Haylor) and Osgood-O'Neil tops them all! The entire salon staff is down-to-earth, genuine and very classy. No "too cool for school" folks here.

I just had a cut (no color). Elaine O'Neil fixed a previous haircut disaster. I really appreciated her candor in telling me what I needed, but without being pretentious or admonishing me for letting someone at a mall salon touch my hair.

I will definitely be going back. After a seemingly endless search, I think I found a salon I can stick with.

• Pros: two locations, friendly staff, valet parking, good value
• Cons: only open late one evening a week

One of the best Salons and extremely professional and friendly staff.

I went in for a hair cut, color and makeup. I live 2 hours away and I got a little lost on my way over to the salon and I arrived about 30 minutes late to my appointment.

Unfortunately the person who was going to cut my hair was already cutting someone elses hair and everything went completely off track.

Even though it was my fault everyone who worked there was extremely nice and apologetic. They tried everything they could to work me into their very busy schedule and finally sent me to their location on KNOX St. to get my hair cut.

The man who cut my hair named Colby gave me the best haircut I have ever been given. He even styled my hair, although I really didn't like the style, I loved the cut.

Next I went back to the Salon at Snider Plaza and they tried everything they could to fit me in for a cut. Unfortunately the very nice and attentive girl at the front desk could not fit me into the schedule. So I made another appointment for next week and I will update with how my next appointment turns out.

The environment is very high class, but don't worry the staff is very nice, friendly and professional. Most of the customers that were there that day were snotty and very possibly rich people. Only an elderly lady was very nice with me. If you are intimidated by that type of environment then you might feel awkward when you go, but if you want one of the best Hair Salons then Osgood O'neil is it.

• Pros: Great Stylists and everyone who works there is very friendly.
• Cons: Those rich snotty people that give you the head to toe look and feel like they are God himself.
