Since 1951, this quick-serve restaurant has catered to on-the-go motorists, pioneering drive-thru dining and a broad selection of distinctive fast-food items. The menu emphasizes burgers like the best-selling Jumbo Jack--a thick patty topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo-onion sauce--but value items like stuffed jalapenos, bacon-cheddar potato wedges, and "monster" tacos are popular, too. Breakfast and sourdough sandwiches, salads and real ice cream shakes round out the offerings.

Breakfast all day!. Call me crazy, but for 20+ years I've been chowing down on Jack's Crescent Supreme when I need a good quick breakfast. It's cooked right there in front of you with a fresh egg, ham, bacon, cheese and some sinful sauce all piled onto a fresh, flaky croissant. Because this is Jack in the Box, I recommend getting it to go -- but I keep getting it and keep coming back. It has become one of those wonderful constants in life -- and now they serve it all day long. That's a major breakthrough win for those of us who couldn't always get up by 10:30!
