Outstanding boarding facility. Our family has used Bark and Purr Pet Hotel for boarding since 2006 for weekend trips as well as extended travel and each time Minerva greets us both by name when arrive. Her prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and courteous and their environment is safe for my pet. There is no way my dog can escape when he is secure behind 3 gates and that gives me peace of mind when I am away. When I return from vacation to pick up Maxwell he smells fresh and he is always brushed and shampooed before I take him home. We even get a free dog biscuit for the road. I would highly recommend Bark and Purr for your pet’s vacation. Your pet will appreciate the TLC.

Best grooming and pet care around!!. We run a small schnauzer rescue and have been using Bark and Purr Dallas for over 6 yrs. Minerva and her team are excellent. They are able to work wonders on severely matted and shelter- tramatized schnauzers. I have picked up a few dogs and asked..."are you sure this is the same dog I just brought in??" The "spa day" at Bark and Purr produces a happy dog with a wagging tail and a big doggie grin!

They do an excellent job on grooming, Minerva has a wealth of knowledge on care and nutrition and NO ONE cares more about our furry friends!

Best boarding and grooming services around. We have left our dog here for 5 times already and always have great experience with them. Our dog was always clean and happy when we pick him up after a few days of boarding here. They only charge $16 per night boarding and $35 for full grooming and nail trimming. These rates are for a 11 lb yorkie-poo so yours may be higher if you have a larger dog. You can contact them to get exact rate.

We love their quick and friendly services and would recommend them to anyone.

Awful in Grooming and Care. I brought my bichon in for a show cut which they advised me they could do. When finished, the dog was unidentifiable as a bichon; my daughter cried. His legs were tappered -rather than tubed as required by standard. His ears were strongly defined instead of blended in with his head and disguised. Just poor cutting. The worst part was his toenails were cut to the quick, with signs of bleeding -how painful for my dog! Also, his privates were nicked and no one informed me of it. When I called Minerva -the owner- to express my dissatisfaction, she told me that I simply didn't know what I was talking about and that she had seen him before he left, and she said he was "cut perfect". Then hung up on me. She would not accept repeated callbacks. What a way to run a business!

Great environment for pets!!. By first sight, you may be a little apprehensive, but this place is great!! The people really care about animals. I take my 2 dogs there and my mom takes hers there as well. Mine always come out happy and with a cute little bow and they always send us on our way with treats!!

I highly recommend this place to anyone!

best place in Dallas to board or groom your dog. I have used many places to get my 4 doggies groomed and tried to board them "happily"

no one seems to care for them like they do. My dogs come out barking and happy, like they have little smiles on their faces. No one I know will take their dogs anywhere else after using them. When I first went in I was a little surprised..its more like a house than a kennel/grooming/store. But you get used to it...and them.

Excellent!. I love this place..this has been the only place I have taken my 'baby" too...the owner is very polite and takes the time to greet the little one and not scare him. Always has him in a cute bandana when I pick him up...and gives him treats when we leave. My little one gets extremly dirty and they take the time to clean him all over, even the ears. Nice place to browse and see what they have for sale..good location.

A little smelly, but it is a place for dogs and cats..once you see their work, its worth it!

Highly recommend!!

The best place EVER to board your pets. I will only board my two dogs with Bark n Purr. This is a family owned and operated business where they treat your pets as if they were their own, really! Bark n Purr provides the same type of services as other places but the personal touches that the owner provides is exceptional. The animals get their own room NOT a cage while they are staying. I can't say enough good things!
