In Short – Local artisans' work adorn the walls of this bottomless-cup-of-international-coffee cafe. Friendly waitstaff add to the comfortable atmosphere. It's known for its breakfast burritos, omelettes and crepes, such as the spinach, onion and tomato crepe with melted feta cheese topped with spicy cream sauce. A variety of vegetarian fare, soups, salads and sandwiches are available, as well as quesadillas and nachos.

Great for late night

by cantfindamembername at Citysearch

Hi, i've been coming to cafe brazil for a long time. close to say.. maybe 10 years, and the thing that makes me most upset is that everything is different. where's the chilli? with all these new chains opening up every where it's hard to find the consistanstly i used to get here at the central location.... plano is horrible and so is addison :(

our last outting was i think was a saturday night and the closest thing to what i was used to. we had a little brown girl as our our server ( i think it was sima?)and she was so helpful and kept us smiling and laughing. i asked to speak to the manager at the time to compliement the food and service, but the manager was too busy yelling in clear view to the cooks and waitstaff. that made me really upset. so we just left the server a great tip...and here is a shot in the dark. to that server.. i will give you a job at my facility and treat you with some respect. Thank you... your food is great and should stay the same!

  • Pros: bottomless coffee and el gordo crepes
  • Cons: horrible management

Best Restaurant Period

This is by far my favorite place in Dallas, and I am here all of the time. The food is great, and so are the people serving it. Jorge is awesome. Go here, get the super quesadilla with fries and ranch. Also, Jorge is not an exception, all the servers are awesome. That is all.

I'm a cafe Brazil fan!

by Mostlyme at Citysearch

While at first glance I thought cafe Brazil would be ethnic cuisine I was not exactly disappointed at the coffee selection and eclectic "something for everyone" offerings my first time in. Since then I am happy with the service I have recieved, save for the always chaotic Sunday Brunch rushes at some locations, but overall consistent food quality and service. The Plano Cafe Brazil is one of the larger ones and while it isn't 24/7 it is a nice place to chill with a laptop and some coffee and just munch on some pancakes. It's a really clean and bright store too. I wish more local eateries would support the arts like they do! There is room for improvement but I guess that is the whole point of their article isn't it> I'm a happy customer.

  • Pros: Support local artists, ecclectic "something for everyone" menu, ambience.
  • Cons: Sunday Brunch a little under staffed at some places, no Brazilian Food!

coffee aroma fills the air....

by lw52463 at Citysearch

I recently went to both the Central Expressway and the newer Bush/Coit location. My daughter raved about the french toast at Coit, so I went back with her and ordered a Brazilian breakfast. They got my order wrong and brought chickhen instead of chorizo, and the rosemary potatoes were dry. While the Central location I had breakfast for dinner one evening and the spinach feta dip was soooo tasty, and my dinning partner's rosemary potatoes glistened with olive oils. His Brazilian breakfast with chorizo looked so good, I forked his plate several times. ah ha! My boyfriend also raved about the coffee being outstanding.

The great thing about this restaurant is that the dishes are not just your average foodstuffs. When the proper cook is in the kitchen, it is a yummy treat.

Have been here twice. The first time, I was not too impressed with the breakfast food I ordered. I did much better the second time, with sandwich and a cup of vegetarian soup.
