The Scene – This vibrant bi-level restaurant and bar features two outdoor patios--one upstairs, one down--and an energetic Technicolor interior. Blue booths, multicolored plates and napkins, Keith Haring-esque murals and silver wall sculptures add to the fiesta. – – The Food – The Libre spinach salad is one of the strongest items on the menu: hearts of palm, avocado, bacon, goat cheese and pine nuts all united by a sunny passion fruit vinaigrette. The tender, sweet roasted pork asado is glazed with a mango-barbecue sauce and accompanies black beans and a crunchy…

We were there on a Saturday night around 6pm--a little early for the real "scene", it wasn't loud or crowded yet--but the food was delish and the margaritas were pretty good too. I would recommend this place to my friends.

I absolutely love Cuba Libre, I'm not much of a club person, not at all actually but I love to go out on a Friday night and have a good time. Cuba Libre has a great atmosphere, beautiful decor, beautiful people and exquisite food. I have actually never eaten anything at Cuba Libre that I didn't absolutel love. Every time i go back I have a new favorite dish. Like other reviews stated, there is a long wait (though it is well worth it), the music is loud (but really, if you go out on a weekend night, it is to be expected anywh ere), and the waitstaff isn't the friendliest, (though they are by no means rude). Cuba Libre definately hosts a younger crowd, 20 to I would say about mid 30's. I highly reccommend it if you are looking for a fun night out with friends.
- Pros: Great food, great ambience
- Cons: long wait
