Bad service, expensive and you have to pay to cook your food. We went there as a group to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress was very rude and never explained anything to us. I ordered the seafood plate for $25 and it was just enough food for a 5 year old kid. 4 tinny bites of tuna, 4 tinny shrimps, 4 scallops, 4 tinny bites of salmon (which just disapeared in the brooth while cooking).

Plus, they charge you for the brooth you need to cook your food ($5 +). We felt that it was just as ridiculious of a charge like if you go to an Italian restaurant and they bring you a box of pasta and tell you that you have to pay $5 if you want they cooked.

We surely understood why the restaurant was nearly empty.

I do NOT recommand this restaurant to anyone.

Incredible Experience. I took my wife to Simply Fondue in Dallas over the weekend and was blown away by the place. It was her birthday and was looking for something different and had heard about this place being lots of fun. It was incredible. The food was delicious, the service was right on point, and it couldn't have been any better of an experience. Thank you Simply Fondue and we'll definitely be back.

We had a great server. Did take longer than expected. Wine pour was generous and reasonably priced.. It is hard to be unique in this town, but I feel that simply fondue does it. There were a few technical difficulties with our 4 course meal on V-day, but it all turned out great. It helped that we had a super nice server. I agree with afore mentioned reviews that they really do need to try to go the extra mile and earn those tips, but it just takes awhile to do fondue. So, they are not going to get a lot of tables. Makes me think they should be working for more than tips, since they are essentially cooking, too - and watching out for fire hazards.

Three Strikes Equals a Horrible Outing. Seating was quick, but our 4 course meal took 4 hours, and that was with getting dessert to go. The server was nice but VERY slow, and the restaurant was out of two wines I requested on the inadequate wine list. The place is small, and the air conditioning unit that served our section was out. We were sitting in front of a hot fondue pot for four hours, and halfway through we were sweating so profusely that we became nauseated. When we complained, the clearly annoyed manager asked if we would be placated by a 20% discount. We were not offered a different table, nor were we addressed professionally by the apathetic manager.

Disappointing. The service was absolutely terrible. Not only was the waitress rude, she did not even offer us drinks when picking empty glasses throughout the meal. The service was so poor that we even skipped out on the desert course of the meal. I am a fan of fondue although I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Simply Fondue, a new twist to an old favorite.. My favorite is the house special, which is essentially a four course meal. For the first course you get a salad. At the time you are eating your salad, you also get the appetizer of melted cheese in a beer bath. You get a variety of vegetable, plus squares of a variety of breads to dip in the cheese. For the main course, you get a pot of oil to cook a variety of meat bits and fish bits on skewer. You can batter them, and you also have sauces to dip them in. Last course, and probably the best in everyones mind, the dessert. You get your choice of chocolate, flavored with a little bit of liquior, and you get a small amount of marshmellows, bananas, cherries, angel food cake and strawberries. A great way to end the evening.

For a really decadent dessert.... Angel food cake, fresh fruit and warm, sinful chocolate = unbelievable dessert! I'm not a huge fan of fondue as a meal. That said, there's is definitely as good as any, but the dessert is what keeps me going back. Go for dinner and dessert or go for just dessert, but don't miss out on the dessert!
