The Scene – A handful of tight tables and a few seats at the sushi bar make up this sophisticated, low-lit Japanese hot spot, whose Asian-chic decor features small display cases that hold museum-worthy artifacts and also serve as windows onto the street. A mixed crowd of seafood lovers hustles in early to get tables; in the sexy adjacent bar, low black-leather couches and concrete floors attract a sake-sipping, see-and-be-seen crowd. – – The Food – The sushi is excellent--of high quality and with lovely presentations--and there's plenty of it, with about 20 different…
Best sushi in Dallas!
by Beako at Citysearch
The best Sushi restaurant in Dallas! I recommend the Kobe beef that you you cook on a hot rock. Also, the yellowtail is always the freshest in town. I always take people from out of town and have yet to be disapointed. It is a dining experience and makes you feel in another place.
- Pros: Freshest seafood and nice ambience
- Cons: usually have to wait
Great, but some customer service issues

Loved the food, service was good, and ambiance was good too. Made reservations for a large group weeks in advance, however, our reservation was lost. After arguing with the manager, which was a good guy, and yelling at him made me feel bad (sorry), I got the reservation. Waited but 15 minutes to be seated. I recommend their lobster in some sake/juice. GREAT!!!
- Pros: Food, Ambience, Service
- Cons: popularity has made reservations a must

So I had this long review written out with great description then my computer messed up and deleted it.
All I can say is that Tei Tei Robata Bar is the best sushi restaurant in Dallas and I highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to drop a few dimes for some tasty, fresh sushi and delicious sake.
- Pros: It's just amazing
- Cons: my stomach isn't big enough
