I love this place BUT. I go here alot. I live out of state. I was there on January 17th 2009. Some bikers were hanging around and they stole my cell phone [Blackberry Storm] and my digital camera [Canon] right off the bar and I was sitting right there. Just be wary of the shifty people that might be hanging close by and keep your belongings close by. Other than that this bar is alot of fun.

Great College Scene. Stan's is a great place for the college crowd. With its terrific selection of more than 150 beers, it's a college rite of passage to learn about them all! The atmosphere can't be beat whether you are casual or dressed up. The only drawback is there are a few regulars that sit at the bar table, complete with gold chains and 70's haircuts. The bars are expansive though and they are pretty harmless if you ignore them. Try the chili-cheese dip, it's the best in town!

worst management ever. TIM...because there is no real STAN... extremely RUDE!!! RACIAL not RACIAL...does not matter... I am a patron PLEASE treat me as such!!!

Don't be a Designated Driver. Been to Stan's several times and never had any problems. Go there once with a designated driver and they charge you for a soda. The cost is not the issue, it's the principle. Even explaining why one person in the group was not drinking was a not enough. I am a avid drinker but very dissapointed in the outcome of the bar's decision to charge for a soda even though we had a DD. I hate making these comments because I enjoy drinking at Stans, but typical of a Greenville bar. Cops gotta love the fact that they charge DD's for drinks, don't let everyone have fun, just those that pay for every drink in the house.

stans. good place to watch a cowboy game but get there early to get a seat. usually decent talent in the place. beers are cold and semi cheap by dallas standards. my only gripe is there are usually too many aggies in the place.

Mmmmm, the burgers!. Really what can I say other than, these are the best burgers I've ever put in my mouth? Seriously. And the buffalo wings aren't half bad either. I give them extra kudos for homemade fries. Those are hard to come by in restaurants these days.
