It's mainly men in business suits with loosened ties here. Known for its whiskey bar draw and cigar-friendly crowds, the eclectic, tasteful decor makes it easy to relax with friends. There' s outdoor seating that's great for groups. The mostly male clientele appear to find comfort in numbers. Good drink specials and modern music keep them coming back.

this bar used to be great. it had a great selection of whiskeys (which coincided with the name), and now the selection is beyond poor. this was the place bartenders came to drink...not so much anymore. the bartenders are cool and know how to pour a drink, unfortunately they work for dbags. i hope this establishment works back to what it once was-a great place for happy hour, a great place to go out with friends, and a great neighborhood bar. To have one of the few roof top patios on greenville, in the now non-smoking dallas, is a clear advantage. so hopefully the owners will stop drinking so much and come to their senses to bring whiskey bar back to its prime!

Whiskey Bar is fun, has a great patio on the roof, and really great bartenders. We love Steve. Thursdays are $1 beer night. The only downside is that there isn't very much room downstairs, so if you don't get a seat at the bar, other options are limited. Of course you could always just get up and dance.... Luckily the patio is huge with lots of seating and a fire pit, which is really cool. I can walk there, so not really sure about parking.

The Whiskey Bar looks and is like so many of the bars on the same block and across the street - a lower Greenville bar. Not that it's a bad thing, it's been around long enough to say it's got something, but it's just your standard small bar on lower Greenville that you bounce back and forth from.
