Whisky Bar

Wish they didn't screw me!!!!. My boyfriend and I went into the Whiskey Bar because it seemed cool, better than the others around it, and the offered $3 shots on the sign by the door. We went and were going to order a couple shots and then sip some beers by the fire pits. But the first shot we ordered turned out to be a shot in the heart.

We ordered 2 doubles of tequila. (Didn't get ID'd...matter of fact, he looked at my boyfriend like he was dumb for even offering it) expecting $6 a glass because of the sign on the door, consequently the only thing that mentions money. The bartender took our order, but walked to the end of the bar, turned his backs on us and poured the drinks. Brought them back plopped them down and went to run the card.

We tasted it..delicious..Bartender come back with the tab and the reason why it was delicious is because it was $7 a shot!! Well, we had already had our fingers in it and mouths, the card was already scanned so we drank them. We even gave the asshat a tip.

The next morning we find out that $4 over the authorized amount was taken out. Apparantly the gratuity they charge to unclosed tabs they also charge to fast close tabs whenever they want. We called to complain, their management really didn't care.

It's a nice building, but the 2 shots for $33 rape part still hurts.…

this place used to be great.... this bar used to be great. it had a great selection of whiskeys (which coincided with the name), and now the selection is beyond poor. this was the place bartenders came to drink...not so much anymore.

the bartenders are cool and know how to pour a drink, unfortunately they work for dbags.

i hope this establishment works back to what it once was-a great place for happy hour, a great place to go out with friends, and a great neighborhood bar.

To have one of the few roof top patios on greenville, in the now non-smoking dallas, is a clear advantage. so hopefully the owners will stop drinking so much and come to their senses to bring whiskey bar back to its prime!…

Yes, a typical bar....but I sure love the place. Whiskey Bar is fun, has a great patio on the roof, and really great bartenders. We love Steve. Thursdays are $1 beer night. The only downside is that there isn't very much room downstairs, so if you don't get a seat at the bar, other options are limited. Of course you could always just get up and dance....

Luckily the patio is huge with lots of seating and a fire pit, which is really cool. I can walk there, so not really sure about parking.…

Excellent Bar, Music and Staff. I am fairly new to Dallas and have been to several bars and clubs. So far Whisky Bar has been the one of the best. I absolutely love the rooftop patio with the fire pit. The view of Greenville from the rooftop is great and fun to watch. The bartenders and security are fun and courteous, and uplifting. DJ Snoddy, what can I say, he's an awesome guy. I love his music and personailty. He was one of the first persons I met here in Dallas. I had an excellent night there and I highly recommend this bar to anyone that wants to kick back and have a good time.…
