I'll admit, I was not very optimistic about this place the first time that I visited the store. The shop is located between a liquor store and a tattoo/piercing parlor ... not exactly establishments that come to mind when you're buying jewelry for a special occasion. I purchased/designed my fiancee's (now my wife) engagement ring. I visited many of Dallas' best stores and came away feeling that Scott listened to me better than anybody. Better yet, I could immediately tell that he was watching out for my best interest and was truly trying to maximize my value. The ring couldn't have turned out better. My wife daily gets compliments on it, and it was so beautiful that we knew we had to also purchase our wedding bands there. Once again, Scott and his staff gave us the information and insight that we needed to save hundreds of dollars versus any other store in town. Now, I will not go anywhere else for a jewelry purchase in Dallas. The folks at Lower Greenville Jewelry run a good, honest business that harkens back to a time when store owners cared for customers as neighbors. Other stores in Dallas may be great (I'm in no position to deny that), and some of them may be able to carry products that Lower Greenville Jewelry doesn't have. However, before you judge this book by its cover, just remember that the spartan-looking store is a direct reflection of a shop-owner who's more interested in passing the money that could be spent on a lavish space onto his customers as money back in their pockets. All of the while, Lower Greenville Jewelry does this while providing great customer service and beautiful craftsmanship.
