Don't bother with this place – Unfortunately, there aren't any negative stars to give this place. Neighborhood bar, really, really bad service. It's a place for new bands to get their first gig. The bartender is incredibly rude. Jumped onstage while the band was playing & held a credit card in each bandmembers face while trying to figure out whose it was! Couldn't believe it. I spent the night thirsty, as the only bartender spent most of her time out on the sidewalk talking with other folks. With so many good music venues in the area, don't bother with this one.
Great Live Music Venue – LBG is a casual neighborhood venue,
with great food, quality local musics acts, and an eclectic jukebox.
Happy Hour is 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily
Don't waste your time or money – This place is a waste of time. The atmosphere is Ok but the drinks were watered down and bartenders are not using correct amount of ingredients in the drinks. They schedule to many bands to play in one night. I payed to get in to see a specific band and was unbale to see a whole set because management let other bands go on for to long. I will never go back.
the place is a dump.........find a better use for your money – We went couple of weeks ago to hear my brothers band play. We planned to eat there as they CLAIM they serve food and even have a menu on their website. AFTER paying cover charge to get in and have a couple of watered down drinks, we found out that there is in fact NO food. (Website STILL has a menu on it...........seems like false advertising to me) Anyhow.....we got our cover charge back and left..........
Watch your wallet – Decent place; no parking. All-types crowd (something for everyone). All-types talent - TV & games don't always fill the time waiting for the next band when this one is lame (& lousy sound system) - but they do always have more than one band.
Ask what the price is BEFORE you order - drink prices change everytime I go in. Watch & count your change! Barkeep picked-up mine while I wasn't watching.
for a medium sized venue, has great live music. great happy hour.
Neighborhood bar in Lakewood fills the live music niche. – In Short
Red walls, wooden tables and many dark booths offer a relaxed atmosphere for sipping a couple drinks or eating a meal. Live rock bands set up at the front main stage. A pool table in the back and a couple video games (including Golden Tee) are available up front. Televisions are on for the slow moments. The bar dominates one wall, and the small kitchen is tucked in the back, offering usual bar fare.
