In Short – Imported porter, standard Guinness and traditional Irish friendliness has kept this original Irish pub in business since 1994. Dark wood and no televisions make this cozy atmosphere a proper escape from the white noise of downtown. Chef Ray shows that Irish food doesn't have to be potato-based: Try the Guinness queso and tortilla chips while you're sipping your stout. Finish off with the Bailey's cheesecake. The house band entertains on weekends.

Best Irish Pub in Dallas
by jackal03
The Tipp is a Dallas mainstay. Hands down the best Irish Pub in Dallas...Great beer selection with awesome rotation of seasonal brews as well as a nice selection of scotch & irish whiskey. The chef has really improved on the already tasty menu - bring an appetite because the portions are generous. Most importantly the look and ambience of the Tipp - with it's dark wood and stain glass interior - gives an authentic Irish pub experience.
- Pros: good beer selection, authentic Irish Pub
Best Irish Pub!

If you want a properly poured Guinness and lots of friendly people then this is your place. It's decor if Irish and you are treated as the Irish are known to do. Automatically family. Everyone gets along and if they have a spare chair, then it is yours!
The Shamrock design on the Guinness is a tradition there, regulars call it "poured with love". There are several designs they can do as well. Great true Irish music with some extended Scottish, folk and bluegrass. Occasionally they have other styles of music. Always tastefully done. Good true Irish food as well as some American.
