I would NOT suggest getting your hair cut here, either. I went to this school in San Antonio for a root touch up and cut. Weeks later I'm still angry and very frustrated. The student had NO idea what she was doing and should not have been left unattended. I wanted an allover 2 inch trim but she hacked off a wide chunk of my mid-back length hair before I or an instructor could stop her. Nothing could be done to fix it, except to TRY to shape it up which made it even shorter. Now I can barely make a 2 inch ponytail. The color is now boring brown even though my hair is (was) auburn.

Maybe they do great manicures etc. but RUN don't walk from the S.A. school if you want a hair cut you don't have to hide under a hat for 3 or more months.

I would not suggest getting your education at this school. If you are looking for a school to go to for cosmetology or aesthetics do not choose ogle.

Not only is the cosmetology program outdated, they teach the bare minimum so you can pass the license exam. Go here if your career goal is to work at supercuts for minimum wage.

The first phase of the aesthetics program is a joke. 14 people crammed into a room the size of a closet with 2 spa beds for "practical" practice. Not to mention that the entire room has to be rearranged so there is "room" to do facials using the spa beds.

It seems like they will cram as many people as they can into the programs so they can make money and the admissions recruiters can make their commission.

Please look into other schools before choosing Ogle, even if the other schools are more expensive. You get what you pay for.

Thrilled!. I just graduated! Woo hoo! Coming to Ogle was such a great thing for me! I love the energy and everyone is so helpful and enthusiastic! I enjoyed my time at school, and I built lifelong relationships. I fill that I am fully prepared for the outside world now, and I owe that to my time here! I would recommend checking it out!!

Ogle is one of the Best!. There are lots of Cosmetology schools in the area and with that being said I attended a school because it was cheaper, wrong choice! Not only do you get what you pay as far as education, financial aid being done correct way, but also supplies and I only worked on one type of hair. Frustrated and nervous about my future opportunites I took a huge risk and dropped and I owed a balnace and everything! UGH! I got all that straightened out and I transferred my hours to Ogle in Dallas and boy what a difference! A lot more diversity when it came to students and clients! :) The kit had a lot more supplies! Any Cosmetology school is going to be majority females which equals DRAMA!! But at Ogle they are a lot more structured as far as dress code, being on time and missing days. Which in the end the structure weeds out the people who are not 100% dedicated to school and their future but also sets students up for success! I am happy with my decision!! Remeber stay postiive there are pros and cons to every situation, but you ultimately hold the key to your success!

Great School. I graduated from the Ogle school on MockingBird in 2005, I have been working in the industry for 5 years. I had a great time at the school on Mockingbird. I recommend it to all my clients that ask about my very rewarding career. Matter of Fact my sister-in- laws daughter just started at the North Dallas Location and loves it. I can’t wait until she is finished so I can hire her. She has been at the Ogle School on Preston since June, and only says its FUN! Her class already went on a Field trip outside of school to salons. I would recommend getting your education here. They have been around for so long in the Metroplex and the MAJORITY Salon Owners know the name OGLE.

I loved this school. I had such a great experience at this school. I had always wanted to do hair. I did look at TG and Regency schools but Ogle was better. Kriss in admissions was wonderful. She helped me so much. I even called my hairstylist and asked what school I should go to and they said Ogle. Great school - I would definitely recommend it.

Horrible, horrible, horrible school for an education!. Do not, I repeat, do not even think about attending this school. You will be humiliated, embarrased by the director, well if you are anything other than black. This is a discrimination case waiting to happen. You will have to teach yourselves. There are no qualified instructors. The majority are the directors friends! Don't do it. You will leave this school ripped off and without an education! I can assure you. You will get no support if complaints are made to corporate office.

RIP OFF ALERT! Horrific Experience. Went to school here, (THE NEW NORTH DALLAS LOCATION) and was totally RIPPED OFF. I got a horrible "education" (if you could call it that). Going to school here was literally the WORST experience of my life. Yes, its that bad!!! Prospective students: BEWARE! Don't be fooled by the B.S. that the admission people tell you while touring the school - they tell you anything they can to get you to sign up! The school's director is on a mega power trip. Several *if not ALL* of the girls made complaints to Ogle's home office to advise them of what was going on, to include the lack of education and the intimidiation/retaliation used by the director and most staff. Ogle's president and home office just CONTINUOUSLY turn their heads and ignore what is right in front of their face. I don't know what it takes for them to really investigate the numerous complaints by students and former staff, but its like, come on!! Where there's SMOKE there's FIRE! When everyone first started complaining directly to the company's president, it seemed as though he cared, but we could not be MORE WRONG! All this school wants is your MONEY and once they have it, they do not care in the LEAST about anything else.

The school's director is FAKE FAKE FAKE. The asst. director was decent at one time, but totally sold herself out and has lost all integrity. She gets walked on by the director but at the same time, she has the ability to make changes, stand up for herself and do what's right but WONT.

The ONLY positive thing that I can say about this particular campus is that Angela who works in Admissions is always fair and consistant, and does a great job. You can tell that she is very professional and ethical. Also Shelly, the Career Services person, she seems to work really hard also to find jobs out there for graduates.

Unfortunately the two positives do not out-weigh all the negatives here! Don't choose this school if you REALLY want to learn!!

Great Value for their Services!. I have followed Ogle from McKinney Ave to Greenville Ave to Hillside Village....over 20 years!!! I have saved a small fortune on haircuts here!. They usually turn out pretty good...and if not, the teacher fixes it....so I'm a happy camper. I have also had them do eye brow arching and facials....great value for their services!
