In Short – Hunky's grinds its high-quality beef fresh daily and then hand-forms the patties. The result is a taste of hamburger heaven. For the adventurous, there's a jalapeno cheeseburger, a tropical "Hula" one with pineapple or a ground turkey burger for the health-conscious. Hunky's is also a bargain: all-beef Hunky Dog with the works is less than four dollars, and a corny dog is less than two. Vegetarians enjoy Hunky's Veggie burger topped with Swiss cheese.

great everything!

i really love going there. i have been going there for five years now and it's amazing. the food is always awesome. i really like their veggie burger and their fried zuccini is to DIE FOR!!!! don't pass it up! the staff is always really nice. and they have great cherry coke! really cute diner. love every minute of it. and the atmosphere is good too. def. a place to go if you're on the gay strip.

Inconsistant quality, proportions

Quality is inconsistant and proportions meager. Ordered their "home made" onion rings to accompany my burger, small size for $1.95 and received (5) onion rings no larger than 1.5 inch each in diameter, soaked in oil, sitting in oil.. They must be very proud of those at 40 cents apiece- never again. Cashier was rude, but then it's Oaklawn.

The cutest place to watch the gay boys go by

I had lunch there the other day for the frist time and i lved every moment of it. This was the frist time i was down in that part of town in the daylight. The food was the best and I loved sitting out on the patio watching the cuties go by. I can't not wait to bring my best friend here when he comes from florida.
