Editorial Review for Landmark at the Melrose Hotel – by Cheryl Ng Collett
In Short
Sunbathed and inviting at breakfast, this traditional dining turns into the perfect romantic spot by night. Candlelight and fresh cut flowers adorn the crisp white linens while diners sink comfortably into upholstered armchairs. Service is as gracious as the decor. Classically presented New American favorites include lemon infused crab cakes with lemon beurre blanc and smoked tomato puree, and beef tenderloin with smoked red onion mashed potatoes and sauteed broccolini served with cabernet pan jus.

My wife and I recently had dinner at the Melrose Hotel here in Dallas. Another couple invited us to join them for an early dinner as they had received a promotional flyer for a Twilight Menu. This was first class all the way...the food was amazing and the servers were friendly and gracious that we didn't want the night to end...if you live in Dallas and you have not tried this restaurant, you are missing out on one of the best!
Pros: First class all the way
Cons: no cons...but get your parking validated

My husband and I recently enjoyed a dinner at the Landmark Restaurant in the Melrose Hotel...we had seen an add for a special "Twilight Menu" and let me tell you it was an amazing bargain! The food was exceptional and the service was warm and gracious...I have had less enjoyable dinners at much more expensive restaurants in town. Thank you Landmark! Don't change a thing!
Pros: Great food, Amazing service, good value
Cons: valet parking only
