Great Breakfast.
Food here is fantastic, I recommend this place to anyone but come a little early it can get crowded. Also, I wouldn't recommend parking in front, it's a little tricky trying to back up on to Oak Lawn =(

good breakfast.
I love going to Lucky's on Sunday mornings. It's crowded, but it's a great crowd, and you can pour yourself a cup of coffee at the bar while you wait. The food is good, and the servers are nice. I'd recommend it!!

local diner with eclectic flare.
i would agree the wait here is kind of ridiculous for what is essentially a glorified IHOP, and i could have done without the lipstick stain on my water glass, but the food here is very tasty and there's good people watching to be had. i will definitely return despite the shortcomings.

Disappointing breakfast!.
We were not impressed! I love diners, so I was very excited to go. My husbands breakfast was cold, his bagel wasn't toasted, I didn't have a spoon for my coffee, I kept having to ask our waiter for things that should be on the table. He stood in the back of the restaurant talking to a staff member.

Fun for breakfast.
A great spot for traditional and filling breakfasts! Definitely worth the wait on weekends.

Home-style breakfast and lunch favorites served in the city's gay and lesbian district..
In Short
Dinette sets from the '50s and artwork by local artist Dale Moses set the scene at this Oak Lawn diner. The Cajun chicken salad is loaded with spicy grilled chicken breast, crisp bacon bits and fresh veggies. Brunch devotees may opt for omelettes accompanied by sides of home fries and toast.

casual diner fare.
good casual diner fare--chicken sandwiches, burgers and such--popular with the oak lawn boys. nothing special, but a fun hangout.
