Terrible Food. As with many others who posted reviews, this was a tasting purchased at a charity event. We ordered several appetizers from the menu to make the party a little more fun and to put it bluntly, the food was awful. I was so disappointed having heard good things about this place but would never consider going back or recommending it to others for tasting parties if they want to have appetizers. Stick to the wine, avoid the food.

Great night, great wine, great staff. We went to Tony's as part of a wine tasting. We had been there a few years back under the old ownership so we had a reference point to see how the place was holding up. Tony's did not let us down. The staff was great, our wine master was knowledgeable and better yet FUN. We have been to other wine bars for tastings but Tony's beats them all because they are NOT WINE SNOBS. Wine was great, food perfect. We will be back and we will spread the word..

Romantic Wine Bar, Great Music. Tony's was so much fun and a really neat experience. My husband and I went there for the first time a few weeks ago. We did a private mini wine tasting at their wine bar, and ordered a couple of delicious appetizers from the kitchen. Our wine master was very knowledgable about the wines poured, and was very gracious. The atmosphere was relaxing and very easy going, ( They have candles lit everywhere in the bar). Service was impeccable from everyone we interacted with and everyone was so nice! We tried some really interesting wines and left with a couple of cases. I say this is definitely a place to check out. They play great music in their wine bar too!

Great place for wine. We had our wine tasting at Tony's this week end and we had a blast. The wine was great the people as friendly as could be and the food was great. The wine was served correct, not cold. I read a review on this sight written by someone complaining about the temputure of the wine. Wine should be served at 57-64 degrees. Tony's was right on the mark. If you are true fan of wine this is the place for you. We loved it and will be back as soon as we can.

Worst Place for Wine Tasting. This place is an embarrassment to Dallas - a city that prides itself in being known for places to eat and drink out. The wine stewards aren't worthy of being called "stewards." The food falls short in every aspect - from price, to presentation, to taste. The only food worth partaking in was the bruschetta...don't bother with the rest. The wine pourer we had in our room (supposedly held 40 - was uber crowded with 30 people) was hurried for no reason, was rude to guests, missed pours in numerous glasses, ignored requests by guests who were missed when they asked for their tasting pours...I won't bother continuing. The reds were ice cold - served out of order (bold flavors before lighter flavors)...food wasn't paired properly...room was uncomfortable, lighting was awful, steward was boring and couldn't answer questions posed by audience members, etc.

This place is a waste of Oak Lawn real estate. If there were negative stars - I'd give it a negative 5 stars...and I am not a harsh critic of places.

Thank God it was for charity otherwise it would have been a WASTE of money.... We bought a wine tasting for up to 40 at charity auciton and thought it would be something fun to do with friends. We went with about 20 people of varying knowledge of wine. The person leading our tasting could not answer several of the questions the group posed to him and did not create a sense of knowing what he was talking about. The red wines were not served at room temperature like they should for optimum taste but were chilled and he stated they are suppose to be that way. Come on get real. Red wine is not to be served cold or chilled. We ordered appetizers and they were a complete rip off. Over priced for the small serving sizes. I am sure they are making a boat load of money off people buying those for parties. They price their wine way over what you could buy just down the street at Goody Goody where they wine guys kow there stuff.

What a great place for wine and fun. We had our wine tasting at Tony's and we had a great night. We learned about wine and we found some new styles that my wife (not a wine drinker) loved. The dinner we had was fantastic, I had the filet, she had the snapper. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Fun night with New Friends. We held a wine tasting at Tony's and it was a perfect way for our group of "new" friends to get together and get to know each other a little better (school parent function). The wine tasting was fun and and the staff was very professional. The parking was valet and free. We would be very happy to return.

Wine tasting platters were helpful.

Great find. We found Tony's about a month ago. The wine tastings are fun and the wine is great. What puts Tony's above the rest is the staff. Great group of people, old school customer service. I will always send clients and friends to Tony's because I know they will be taken care of.

menu not accurate, wine tasting wasn't worth expense, wine class instructor was decent. We won a wine tasting here for 40 people in a silent auction and were excited to use it. We ended up with 12 tasters and 8 of us stayed for dinner. The wine class instructor was very good. He was very knowledgeable about wine and had a great sense of humor. What wasn't so good about the tasting however was that the bottles were split between our tasting and another tasting and despite the fact that our certificate was for 40 people and valued at $1000, we weren't even offered the remaining bottles from our tasting of only 12 people after the tasting was over even though our certificate was worth much more.

Dinner was just as frustrating. Of the eight of us that ate there, not a single person had everything on their plate as it was described on the menu. Cheese grits were mashed potatoes, mexican risotto was simply a plate of rice with some tomatoes and seasoning, and the crab risotto was plain rice with some crab legs surrounding it. Definitely not risotto.

I was truly disappointed, especially since I had such a great experience when I went two years ago. I heard it was taken over by new management so that probably explains it. Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking about going here that our experience was less than perfect and we more than likely won't be back.
