I gave Dr. Liddell a try because his former office was just a few blocks from where I work. This was around a year ago. I needed allergy medication for seasonal allergies I suffer from. Getting an appointment was extremely difficult; there is no receptionist to answer your calls or questions, so it is a 2 or three day process alone just getting an appointment to see him.

The first time I saw him, I was familiar with the medication that worked well with my allergies- but he kept pushing a certain brand- he insisted so much I finally gave in and got a prescription for that. He would not take any time to hear me out, and I felt really rushed. The medicine worked okay, but was not as effective as the one I felt I needed.

I just made a second appointment to refill my prescription. I was determined this time to see about getting the type of medicine that has always been the most effective for me and the the least amount of side effects. Unfortunately, I showed up for my appointment time wrong. I had got the time written down wrong on my planner. When I showed up, Dr. Lidell was doing paperwork in his office; he looked up at me, and then looked down and just kept working. I stood there for a moment, and then said hi- he walked over with a horrible look on his face. He told me I had missed my appointment time. I apoogized and asked if I could reschedule as soon as possible because my allergies were killing me. He looked at me smugly and said, "No, you just need to find a new doctor." Wow! I was shocked! I asked him if he was serious, and he sai yes, and I need to go ahead and leave his office immediately. I tried to ask him to reconsider and he shut the glass door in my face! It was unbelievable. I got the distinct feeling that something irregular and shady was going oh with him, based on that experience and my past experiences with him. I would stay away from this guy at all costs, there are plenty of competent, professional and weel adjusted Dr.s to choose from.

Great Family Practice Doctor (MD)

I have been seeing Dr. Liddell for over 9 years and he is a wonderful and caring doctor. His office is in the Oaklawn (75219) area and is very easy to access. There is covered (FREE and IN THE SHADE) parking. I have been to Dr. Liddell's office on both scheduled and minor emergency visits. I can always call and usually get an appointment the SAME DAY or within 24 hours. Dr Liddell sees patients Monday thru Friday. His office is open from 8AM until 5pm, and if I ever need to come in for anything, I just leave a message on the answering service and the office calls me when they pick up the message.

I guess the thing that I like most about Dr. Liddell is that he really takes the time to get to know you as a patient. My office visits are un-rushed. Dr. Liddell is very conversational, takes the time to understand my fears, concerns or issues. The office staff is warm and friendly.

Last but not least - If I have an appointment at 10:00am, I see the doctor AT 10 AM! I have never had to wait more then 5 to 10 minutes at most. I have gotten in the habit of arriving about 10 minutes early so that I can fill out any paperwork etc. because I know that when it is time for my appointment the doctor is always there.

Dr. Liddell is a physician that I would recommend to anyone. I have even met other medical professionals (Doctors, Nurses, etc) in Dr. Liddell's waiting room as patients. It seems to me that if another doctor or nurse is using the same doctor that I am, well then I have made the correct choice. Hope this is helpful to anyone looking for a new doctor.
