Great Coffee & Dallas's Best Pancake Choices.
We would come to work early near Love Field on Friday mornings just so co-workers & I could enjoy the best breakfast in town!!!! Their "49-ers" are my favorite:)
But my friends also loved the regular pancake stacks and that fresh maple syrup. Their bacon was also very tasty!!!!

Made-to-order breakfasts---including over a dozen unique flapjacks---stack the odds in this restaurant's favor..
In Short
Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

Best Coffee.
This is one fine place for breakfast. Their special-made coffee is the finest anywhere. In fact, everything they do is from scratch. Don't you dare miss their golden plain waffle! And the whipped butter --- whoooo, my -- that's the best, softest stuff to put on waffles and pancakes. Fabulous place, but make sure you have some money, though. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.
