good but there are better options. my last visit here was kind of a letdown; i was served a very fatty piece of veal that i could not even cut through, and the replacement chop was subsequently undercooked. i realize that most people don't go to high end steakhouses for their health, but the food here is extremely rich in comparison to other similar establishments. even without the undercooked veal i still say this place is overrated and overpriced.

Cherry and mahogany walls, white tablecloths and terrazzo floors combine 1930s swank with today's technology and obsession with prime cuts of beef, dry aged on-site. The 1,800 varieties of wine that line the walls of the wine room features a good price range. Steak, lamb or veal entrees vary from 10-ounce prime strip to 26-ounce porterhouse; seafood includes market-price, live and cold-water lobster. The popular steakhouse salad features sliced fruit and candied almonds.

Best Kept Secret. This place is phenomenal! They understand quality service and perfect the execution. Then when comparing the pricing to other highly rated steakhouses, this is by far teh best value and experience for any steakhouse in Dallas.

Special Taste of Texas. Pappas Brothers Steakhouse is the best in fine dining and quality. I'm a steak eater and have dined at many of the finest Dallas restaurants from Bobs to Ruth Chris. Pappas is the King. Service is excellant and the food is outstanding. It is a bit costly but it is well worth your time.

Great Steaks! Great Atmosphere!. I went for my first time about a month ago (Oct 2002), and I thought the food was excellent. The service was excellent as well. My glass never got empty, and I wasn't bothered too much either. Everyone was polite, and treated us like royalty. Excellent atmosphere. Just a little pricey, but worth it!
