Tips for Pappas Bar-B-Q

Great BBQ for a lunch group.
With lots of great BBQ places in the area I had never tried Pappas. Of course had heard about it and finally got the chance with some office buddies.
Cafeteria style ordering, but the line wasn't that long at noon time and the service was quick.
They provide a daily special and the normal options: sandwiches, sausage, beef, chicken and ribs.
The side options were typical as well from what I could tell. I had chopped beef sandwhich with a green salad.
The other orders at my table were chicken and one guy had ribs. They were big!
Everyone gave it a big thumbs up.

Had Better. Well, I will say the meat was well seasoned and had a pretty good smoked flavor. With that being said, the bbq sauce was utterly disappointing, the lack of flavor and seasoning was enough to make this my first and last visit to Pappas. "Meaning that if mulch had a taste this sauce would be the equivalent".

Awesome Salads. I frequently order the meat salad from Pappas. It comes with three diferrent types of meat (ham, steak, turkey)..The serving size is HUGE..Large enough to feed three people. The price is also just right.

just ok. maybe i deserve to be punished for ordering eclectic items at a BBQ joint, but i had zero luck with the brisket burrito (was actually 2 greasy soft tacos), the pea salad (just plain foul) or the spicy rice (strange consideing pappasito's is next door). on the plus side, they do offer drive thru breakfast tacos in the AM, of which the 'link' (BBQ Sausage) option has been the best so far.

Tasty, tender BBQ. This place has excellent BBQ, from the beef ribs, chicken, pork ribs to the tender brisket. I love the fresh side dishes and the fruit drinks made of real fruit chunks.
