Great Service and Food!. Really large portions, enough for two people to share. Server was very good at explaining meal options. This place is authentic - NO RANCH DRESSING - :) Nice classy environment. Cozy atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again.

good food but felt rushed. I selected Maggiano's for a business luncheon. I think they were catering to the fast lunch crowd but I wasn't in a hurry. I felt rushed. The food just came one after another...too fast and the tables are small and get crowded very quickly. Luckily one person didn't show so we used her space to put stuff.

The food was delicious...not the best place for a business lunch because I couldn't enjoy my meal as much since I had to talk a lot.

Good prices, everyone likes it.

Wish they would slow down some.

Family-friendly restaurant serves up enormous portions of southern Italian favorites in a nostalgic setting.. In Short
Family-style portions and red-checkered tablecloths create a casual, congenial vibe, drawing families and large groups to this feast of Italian-American nostalgia set to a Sinatra soundtrack. The made-from-scratch menu is brimming with traditional dishes, from starters like fried calamari, Parmesan garlic bread and Tuscan-style mussels to spaghetti with meatballs and manicotti with chicken and spinach. For those with room to spare, a piece of sweet tiramisu and a strong cappuccino help finish the meal.

Consistently great Italian. Maggiano?s is a chain, but every one I?ve visited has had great Italian. I especially love the calamari

Service is usually attentive except in the bar area where the bartender doesn?t have time to make drinks and serve tables.

4+ people, I?d recommend the family style servings.

Avoid when with a large group. First time visiting with a large party(20), the food was good but the service we received in the end was terrible. I would not recommend this place for group gatherings! The portions was big supposedly bottomless but we didn't get refills on many dishes. Their definition of family style is $24.99 per person, and the entire group was expected to agree and choose 2 for each course out of many selections. The decision making process can be very frustrating whenever a large number of people is involved, and not to mention the paying process. Our bill was 900+ with all the drinks included, to my understanding, the wait staff and the manager were very reluctant to redo the bill fairly, they kept saying that their computer system is not designed to create individual bills with drinks correctly separated for each person. Since we were paying with multiple credit cards, the only way their computer could calculate was to split the bill and drinks evenly. In conclusion, when you have a large group (15+) and when tips are included, seems like the wait staff feel that it's ok for them to be rude and impatient with the customer. When one of us finally refused to have all the nondrinkers split the cost of wine the waiter came back and said "apparently you are the only who has a problem with the paying plan, we will charge less on this credit card." It was very rude and uncalled for. aka, birthday gatherings and end of year celebrations, family style Maggiano is not be a good idea. And keep in mind that their computer system will not be able to create separate bills(according to the staff and the manager) when you finally complain the wait staff will act like you are the unreasonable one.

If heaven isn't Maggiano's, I don't want to go. This is the best food I've ever had. Period. I didn't know that food could taste this good until I came here. I've been here for two large parties, romantic dinners, girls night, family night and with my sister. It is appropriate for any occassion and all ages (well, maybe not small children). Out of the 20+ times I've been here over the past 6 years, I've received rude service ONCE from a hostess (shrug.... not a big deal). She was definately the exception; I've had outstanding service every other time I've been to this restaurant. Seriously, outstanding. The atmosphere is GORGEOUS, and everything on the menu is to die for. The portions are so big so you can share or take it home.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, it's wonderful, and an excellent value.

Snootiest service on earth...and this coming from a native New Yorker!!. I'm a native New Yorker that has lived on the Upper East Side her entire life and never have I seen such snooty servers! And the snooty came from the idiot that's working at the carry out area of all places! It was very slow at the time so it's not like he had other guests to tend to. I went in and ordered lunch to take home with me because I was feeling home sick and wanted to see if it's as good as the places we had back in New York. The waiter was so rude and snooty that he didn't bother to look at me for one second! All attempts to have casual conversation to ease the tension were ignored. He was an @ss, plain and simple!

The food is incredible though. I ordered Salmon and the Chicken Salad. TO DIE FOR! Then for dessert I had Profiteroles which was PURE HEAVEN!! This is a great place other than the idiots that are supposed to be there to SERVE YOU. Remember that? The service is so horrible that I am thinking about never going there again until I know that the rude staff has been fired.

Name should be "Momma Mia Great Food". The best italian food. I typically get the chopped salad (mmmhh I could eat this as a whole meal!), chicken parm, angel hair with meat sauce, and I forgot the name but it's the fried squid appetizer coming out around $30-50. This will more than stuff two people. Service is usually good, but the host/hostess people are a little slow. Usually there isn't much of a wait, & if there is you can eat at the bar.

If you're shistey you can go family style, eat a plate and they bring you another, the shisteyness comes in when you are stuffed but there's only a little on the plate so you force yourself to eat it, get another helping take one small little nibble & ask the waiter to box it up!

Now let me tell you about some of their desserts....All of them are great! Made from scratch cheesecake, the black cake by the slice is good but even better by the whole! (it comes shaped like a dome! and is about a foot high!), you always will have room for their tiramisu it's so light and fluffy.

Little Italy. The food is wonderful as is the setting. I love the option of family style dining. So true of dining in italy. Great place to go with friends.

Review Of Maggiano's. Maggiano's is excellent! They have an all-you-can-eat menu choice where you select 2 main dishes, 2 appetizers, 2 types of salad and 2 desserts! Bring 3 friends and it works out to only $25 per person! And everything they offer is prepared fresh so you know it will be delicious!
