Centrally located off Highway 75, this shopping destination is a gallery of coveted fashions, modern art and exceptional cuisine. From the silky scarves at Carolina Herrera to svelte suits at BOSS Hugo Boss, this is a label addict's dream. After a shopping spree, visitors refuel with a Northern Italian meal at Cibus or with a massage at Nordstrom's spa.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- There is an AMC 15 at the center so plan to hit a movie to cool your heels from shopping.
- The Extras:
- Drop the car off by Nordstrom's or Victoria Secret if you'd like it washed while you shop.
- When to Go:
- Fashion at the Park is an exclusive fashion show that occurs each spring and fall; a 20,000-square-foot luxury tent contains a 200-foot runway where models strut the upcoming trends.
Great Mall
by areyouprotected at Citysearch
The mall itself is nice with lots of upscale shopping available. Its a great place for the entire family. But whatever you do, DON'T bother with the Tiffany's at Northpark! Everything else about it was great though!
- Pros: The mall is upscale.
- Cons: They have the worst Tiffany's in the metroplex
Horrible Experience-Avoid This Santa!
by drneuropsych at Citysearch
My husband and I took our 1 year old son to Northpark for a picture with Santa. When we got there, there was a line going out of the store. People were saying they were waiting hours for their numbers to be called. An elderly employee was screaming at people, including one mom that "this is the last time I'm going to tell you to get that stroller out of line!" My husband was ignored when he went to ask a question. Needless to say, we left immediately-HUGE waste of time and Horrible experience, not to mention a ridiculously packed mall.
If you enjoy limited parking, jampacked malls, and waiting for hours, then this is the venue for you and your tots!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Packed, Rude
Ultra chic southern shopping!
by kdbriggs at Citysearch
I go to school in la, but whenever I visit home- a trip to northpark is mandatory! This mall has my fav upscale shops like neiman's and nordstrom, yet the environment is not snobby like you'd find in other upscale shopping locations. This mall is everybody's mall, and if you have more money- so much the better! Staff at nordstrom is particularly friendly and could sell me anything! If fashion is your passion, northpark is your destination
- Pros: Selection!
- Cons: Parking- as with any mall- avoid weekends and other high traffic times
