Daddy Jack's is a dark, inviting little place; in one room, brown paper tops black tablecloths under a black ceiling next to a black bar. In another, huge vintage posters decorate brick walls. Netting walls off a tiny sitting area with red benches--very opium lounge. – – The Food – Stellar seafood is the main draw here. A velvety lobster bisque and a perfect clam chowder taste fresh from New England. A superb wood-grill salad hosts bits of artichokes, bacon, and blue cheese.…
Great Food and Service

This is a favorite restaurant of mine because everyone there is very friendly, the food is great, and I like the Deep Ellum location. Awesome specials, so try those for sure. Nice wine list with informed servers as well. I like the low lighting and overall decor. Definitely worth trying if you haven't yet!!!!
- Pros: Ambience, close to Reno's Chop Shop Saloon and Deep Ellum entertainment
